Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bucs RB Bucky Irving (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Eagles. He went from a limited practice on Wednesday to no practice on Thursday to limited again on Friday. “Looked like his hamstring wasn’t limiting him today at practice,” insider Greg Auman tweeted Friday. We’re expecting Irving to play, but the hamstring issue adds risk to a guy who was already a fringey RB3.

Jaguars WR Gabe Davis (shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Texans. He should play after putting in three limited practices, but hopefully Davis isn’t in your Week 4 fantasy plans. He’s totaled just 123 scoreless yards through three games in a struggling Jaguars offense.

Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. He remained sidelined in practice all week, although HC Doug Pederson said Friday that Engram should have a good chance to return for Week 5. His absence this weekend again leaves Brenton Strange as Jacksonville’s lead TE. He’s tallied 3-65-0 and 2-12-1 lines the past two weeks.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson (shoulder) is off the final Week 4 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice, but Robinson was a full-go on Friday. He should be ready for his usual workload vs. the Saints this weekend.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hip, ribs) is officially questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, which should have him on track to play. We’ll get New Orleans’ inactives’ around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. An active Kamara will remain a must-start.

Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. With RB Alvin Kamara and WR Chris Olave banged up, Hill could take on an expanded role. He’s in play as a Week 4 spot starter at TE, particularly in half-PPR and non-PPR leagues.

Saints WR Chris Olave is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons after injuring his hamstring in Friday’s practice. He’s considered “day-to-day,” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, but Olave has less than 48 hours to get ready for Sunday’s 1 pm ET kickoff. We’ll look for further updates on his status for that one. He’ll carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. Addison still carries some added risk coming off a multi-week ankle injury, but he lands in low-end WR3 territory in the Week 4 Rankings.

Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings. He was limited in practice all week. "Anytime he's out there, that's encouraging, but again we'll see," HC Matt LaFleur said after Friday's practice. Love is shaping up as a potential game-time decision. We'll get Green Bay's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. QB Malik Willis will get another start if Love can't go.

Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. He put in a limited practice on Friday after sitting out the previous two days. That gives Mixon a shot to play on Sunday, although we're still projecting him to miss as of now. RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) has been ruled out, leaving RB Cam Akers as Houston's lead back if Mixon sits.

Texans WR Nico Collins (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Thursday but put in a full workout on Friday. Collins should be ready for his usual role in Sunday's plus matchup vs. the Jaguars.

Texans WR Tank Dell (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. He's reportedly dealing with painful bruised ribs. We'll see if Dell can make it back for Week 5's game against the Bills. It's unclear how Dell's snaps will be divvied between WRs Xavier Hutchinson, Robert Woods, and John Metchie. None is a viable Week 4 fantasy play. WR Nico Collins, WR Stefon Diggs, and TE Dalton Schultz could pick up extra targets with Dell out.

Eagles WR A.J. Brown (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. Philly could certainly use him with WR DeVonta Smith out, but we remain skeptical that Brown will play after only getting in a limited practice on Friday. An upcoming Week 5 bye should also figure into the team's decision on whether to play him against Tampa Bay. We'll look for further updates on Brown's status and get the Eagles' inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bucs. Philly gets a Week 5 bye, and Smith should be cleared before the Week 6 meeting with the Browns. We'll keep tabs on his progress.

The Cowboys suffered a pair of significant injuries on defense in Thursday night's win over the Giants. Edge Micah Parsons sustained a left high ankle sprain. Edge Demarcus Lawrence suffered a right mid-foot sprain. ESPN's Todd Archer reports that both players could miss "multiple weeks." Dallas has two more games before a Week 7 bye.

Steelers QB Russell Wilson (calf) is again listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Colts. QB Justin Fields is fully expected to start that one as Pittsburgh goes for its fourth straight win. Fields lands inside the top 12 QBs in our Week 4 Rankings.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. We still don’t have any details on his injury or a timeline for his return. Warren’s absence should leave RB Najee Harris in a workhorse role this weekend. RB Cordarrelle Patterson figures to mix in for a handful of touches as the No. 2.

Raiders TE Michael Mayer is out for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. He missed Thursday and Friday's practices and is listed on the injury report with "personal." We don't have any other details on his situation. Mayer ran a route on 43% of pass plays and drew seven targets over the first three weeks of the season. His absence is another boost to TE Brock Bowers, on top of WR Davante Adams being out.

Raiders WR Davante Adams (hamstring) is out for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. He injured his hamstring in Thursday's practice, so it's possible that he misses more time beyond Week 4. We'll look for further updates on his status. Adams has accounted for 24% of Raiders targets this season, so he leaves behind a ton of opportunity. TE Brock Bowers, WR Jakobi Meyers, and WR Tre Tucker are candidates to pick up extra work.

Bears WR Rome Odunze (hip) is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He was limited in Thursday’s practice but a full-go on Friday. The rookie should be ready for his usual role vs. the Rams this weekend, although WR Keenan Allen’s likely return adds target competition.
