Rome Odunze Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bears WR Rome Odunze found the end zone twice in the second half catching four of five tagrtes for 42 yards. The entire Bears’ offense struggled with much of their scoring coming in a catch up attempt in the second half.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (ankle) returned to a full practice on Thursday. He'll be ready to roll for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers. WR D.J. Moore (quad) missed practice again, though, leaving his Week 14 status up in the air. We'll see if Moore gets on the field tomorrow. His absence would boost the fantasy outlooks on both Allen and WR Rome Odunze.

Bears WRs D.J. Moore (quad) and Keenan Allen (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Both guys played until the end of last Thursday's loss to the Lions, so this could just be a rest day early in the week. We'll see if Moore and Allen get back on the field tomorrow. WR Rome Odunze would see a big boost in volume vs. the 49ers this weekend if those guys don't play.

After being nearly shut out in the first half, the Bears passing game took off in the second half. Keenan Allen caught five of eight targets for 73 yards and two TDs. D.J. Moore caught eight of 16 targets for 97 yards and a TD. Rookie Rome Odunze only caught two of his six targets for 25 yards.

Bears WR Keenan Allen caught nine of 15 targets for 86 yards and a late TD in a failed comeback. WR DJ Moore caught all seven of his targets for 106 yards and a TD, including the catch to set-up the game tying FG in regulation. Rome Odunze caught five of 10 targets for 39 yards.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (ankle) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Vikings. He was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Friday. We’ll look for further updates on Allen, but he was already an unexciting fantasy option before this news. His absence would boost the target potential for WR D.J. Moore, WR Rome Odunze, and TE Cole Kmet.

Bears QB Caleb Williams threw for 231 yards on 23 of 31 passing in Sunday's loss to Green Bay. He went without a TD pass for the fourth straight game.

The Bears are firing OC Shane Waldron, according to multiple reports. He'll be replaced by passing-game coordinator Thomas Brown.

Bears WR Rome Odunze was a top target of QB Caleb Williams catching five of seven targets for 104 yards. He was third on the team in targets, but a long 44 yard reception gave Odunze the edge. That catch was more yards than any other player totaled the entire game.

Bears WR Keenan Allen tied rookie WR Rome Odunze with six targets, but Allen only caught three passes for 33 yards while Odunze caught five for 40 yards. Allen may still be ramping up moving forward, but it is clear he will split fairly evenly with the rookie.

Bears WR D.J. Moore recorded 3 catches, 22 yards, and 1 score in Sunday's win over the Rams. His 6 targets ranked second on the team (26%).

Bears WR Rome Odunze (hip) is not listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He was limited in Thursday’s practice but a full-go on Friday. The rookie should be ready for his usual role vs. the Rams this weekend, although WR Keenan Allen’s likely return adds target competition.

Bears WR Rome Odunze was added to Thursday's injury report with a hip. He was limited in practice. We don't have any other details on the rookie's injury right now. We'll see if Odunze practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Rams.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. "He's tracking to return this week if all goes well," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted.

Bears QB Caleb Williams posted a fantasy breakout in Week 3, notching 363 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 INTs. Williams was boosted by a massive 52 pass attempts.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. It's a downgrade from last week, when Allen was questionable on the final injury report before winding up inactive. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 4. His absence this weekend adds target upside to WRs D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze. We also saw TE Cole Kmet's routes and targets climb with Allen out last week.

Bears WR Rome Odunze (knee) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Texans. The rookie only got in a limited practice on Friday – but he said the knee is just a pain-tolerance issue. So there’s a chance he’s able to play his usual snapload tonight. Chicago could certainly use him with WR Keenan Allen out.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer labeled WR Keenan Allen (heel) as "doubtful" to play vs. the Texans tonight. It's been trending in this direction after Allen missed practice all week. Get him out of Week 2 fantasy lineups. WR Rome Odunze (knee) is seemingly on track to play tonight.

Bears WR Rome Odunze (knee) is "tracking to play" vs. the Texans tonight, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It's been a speedy recovery for the rookie, who was sidelined on Wednesday and Thursday and limited in Friday's practice. Odunze said Friday that his injury is mostly a pain-tolerance issue. So it's possible that he winds up playing a full slate of snaps tonight. Still, the rookie would be tough to trust in fantasy lineups considering the injury and Chicago's Week 1 struggles on offense.
