Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (ankle) will practice on Thursday and "has a chance" to play in Saturday's preseason game, HC Brian Daboll said. Nabers suffered a minor ankle injury four days ago.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy (ankle) was back on the practice field and participating in individual drills on Thursday, just two days after being carted off the field with an air cast on his leg. "Looks fine," The Athletic's Dan Duggan tweeted.

Bills LB Matt Milano suffered a torn left biceps in Tuesday's practice. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he'll have surgery "with the hope of trying to return later this season, possibly in December."

Sports Illustrated's John Shipley writes that Jaguars WR Gabe Davis has been running more intermediate routes than downfield routes in training camp.

DE Matthew Judon has been traded from the New England Patriots to the Atlanta Falcons for a third round pick. At age 31, Judon has been an effective pass rusher and solid IDP player throughout his career. He will likely start at an OLB position over 2022 second round pick Arnold Ebiketie.

Broncos WR Troy Franklin has been battling drops in camp and appears to be low on the depth chart. Camp reports have him behind the Broncos Seventh Round Pick WR Devaughn Vele.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison appears to have sustained only a very mild ankle injury in Wednesday's practice. "I think he's going to be OK," HC Kevin O'Connell said afterward, according to Matthew Coller of Purple Insider. O'Connell added that the WR likely won't practice Thursday. We'll certainly watch for further confirmation on Addison's status, but it doesn't sound like you should adjust your fantasy expectations for him at all.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely has had a "fantastic" training camp, HC John Harbaugh said this week. The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec notes that, while TE Mark Andrews leads the team in camp receptions, "Likely isn't far behind."

Vikings WR Jordan Addison left the field on a cart Wednesday after suffering an apparent leg injury, according to Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. It's too early to know the specifics of Addison's injury, but Kevin O’Connell doesn’t believe it is serious. And leaving on a cart doesn't necessarily indicate something serious. Addison reportedly made it off the field before riding the cart.

The hamstring injury Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs suffered in Monday's practice is not believed to be serious. “I think we’re gonna be fine here," HC Dan Campbell said of Gibbs. "So, I think we’ll be good.” Insider Jordan Schultz, meanwhile, heard from a source that Gibbs "should be ready for Week 1."

The Vikings announced Wednesday that QB J.J. McCarthy will miss the entire 2024 season. Surgery on the meniscus in the rookie's right knee revealed that he needed a full repair.

The Browns have agreed to a three-year contract extension with LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, according to multiple reports. The deal is worth up to $39 million, with $25 million of that guaranteed. JOK will be the sixth-highest paid LB by annual average, according to Over The Cap.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy escaped with merely a low-ankle sprain after leaving the practice field on a cart with an air cast on his right leg, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase has yet to practice with his team since the start of training camp. Tuesday presented a new step, though, as the WR didn't even attend practice, according to ESPN's Ben Baby. Baby says that Chase "had remained visible and involved during drills" before Tuesday.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara left practice today with back tightness. The extent of the injury is uncertain at this time, but it is worth monitoring.

Chiefs WR Marquise "Hollywood" Brown was injured in the Chiefs preseason game this past Saturday. The extent of the injury has been revealed, as his S/C Joint Sprain will keep him sidelined for four to six weeks. Opening Night is three weeks away.

Per reporter Zac Jackson, Browns TE David Njoku “is having another strong camp and might end up leading the team in targets." Last year, Njoku tallied 123 targets in 16 games -- five fewer than Amari Cooper (15 games).

Bengals WR Tee Higgins has been "unstoppable" in training camp, Pro Football Network's Jay Morrison writes. "The offense has run through him," Morrison adds.

The Steelers and 49ers have a deal on a potential trade and a new contract is in a good place for Aiyuk, the 49ers just need to sign off to get the deal done. The 49ers appear to be waiting on their contract offer to Aiyuk in hopes he will accept.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (ankle) told the media Tuesday that he has "no doubt" he'll be ready for Week 1. Nabers remained sidelined for practice but was on the sidelines without any protection on that injured ankle. He added that he was able to do some jogging without a wrap on his ankle.
