Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders led the team with 87 receiving yards in Sunday's win over the Saints. He tied WR Xavier Legette for the team reception lead (4) and trailed Legette by just one for the target lead (6-5). This marked the third time in four games that Sanders caught at least four passes and the fourth time in five games that he drew 5+ targets.

Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard ran for 72 yards and 2 TDs on 15 carries in Sunday's win over the Saints.

Falcons WR Drake London suffered a hip pointer and an oblique strain in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, according to Underdog's James Palmer. "It doesn't appear to be a serious concern," Palmer adds. The injuries were enough to keep London out of the Dallas game, but it sounds like he has a chance to be available for next weekend's meeting with the Saints. We'll keep tabs on London's status throughout this coming week.

So much for the foot injury that kept Titans RB Tony Pollard out of practice Wednesday-Friday. The former Cowboy handled 31 touches for 154 yards in an OT win over New England.

Saints QB Derek Carr went just 18-of-31 passing for 236 yards Sunday against the Panthers, after missing the previous three games with an oblique injury. He threw for 1 TD -- to TE Foster Moreau -- but didn't turn the ball over.

Patriots QB Drake Maye returned from a concussion to post 206 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs against Tennessee. He starred as a rusher with 95 yards on 8 attempts.

Saints utility man Taysom Hill ran for a 7-yard TD among 5 carries for 19 yards in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. That obviously delivered key fantasy production. But his receiving usage might be more impactful for his value going forward.

Bills RB James Cook handled 10 of 17 team rush attempts for 44 yards in a close win over Miami. He led the RB group with 6 targets, posting 5 catches, 25 yards, and 1 drop.

The Bengals fear a torn ACL for TE Erick All, according to insider Jordan Schultz. This is the same right ACL that All tore at Iowa in October 2023. He was in the midst of a promising rookie season, quickly carving out a role in Cincinnati's passing game. A torn ACL would end All's 2024 season and could threaten his availability for the start of 2025.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill caught 4 of 5 targets for 80 yards in Sunday's loss to Buffalo. The yardage marked Hill’s most since Week 1. He remains without a TD since the opener.

Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba was absolutely dominant against the Rams with DK Metcalf on the sidelines. JSN caught seven of 13 targets for 180 yards and two TDs in the game.

Rams WR Demarcus Robinson caught two TDs against the Seahawks including the game-winning catch in Overtime. He caught six of nine targets for 94 yards and both receiving scores for the Rams.

Rams RB Kyren Williams was held without a TD for the first time this season. He ran 22 times for 69 yards against a lackluster Seahawks defense. He caught only one pass for 26 yards. It was a rough outing for Williams who has been an RB1 almost weekly at this point.

Bears WR Rome Odunze was a top target of QB Caleb Williams catching five of seven targets for 104 yards. He was third on the team in targets, but a long 44 yard reception gave Odunze the edge. That catch was more yards than any other player totaled the entire game.

Cardinals RB James Conner ran 18 times for 107 yards. He also caught all three targets for 12 yards. The downside was that RBs Emari Demercado and Trey Benson scored TDs while Conner was held out of the end zone.

Bears QB Caleb Williams and Cardinals QB Kyler Murray did not have a passing or rushing TD in their match-up this week. Williams completed 22 of 41 passes for 217 yards while Murray completed 12 of 20 passes for 154 yards.

RB Alvin Kamara accounted for 215 scrimmage yards in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. He handled 29 of the team's 41 rushing attempts, averaging 5.3 yards per carry en route to 155 on the ground. Kamara also led the Saints in targets (9), receptions (6), and receiving yards (60). He ceded the team's TDs to Taysom Hill (rushing) and Foster Moreau (receiving).

Giants QB Daniel Jones threw a pair of TD passes and ran for a score in Sunday's loss to the Commanders. Jones rushed seven times for 54 yards, including a 2-yard TD in the fourth quarter. He added 174 yards passing, with no INTs, 2 sacks taken, and one fumble.

Giants WR Darius Slayton sustained a concussion in the Week 9 loss to the Commanders. It's his second concussion of the season, with the first coming in the opener. We'll track Slayton's progress through the protocol this coming week, but consider him no better than 50/50 to play vs. the Panthers next Sunday morning in Germany.

Bills WR Keon Coleman appeared to suffer a right hand or wrist injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Dolphins. He took a huge hit from S Jordan Poyer, who was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play. There hasn’t been an update from the team on Coleman, but we’ll look for one tomorrow.
