Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Dolphins. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more info on Flowers’ status and get Baltimore’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday, and is off the final injury report. He’ll be back under center for this weekend’s game vs. the Titans – a big boost for Houston’s offense. See where all the Texans sit in the Week 17 Rankings.

Titans QB Will Levis (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back under center for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans but is only in play in 2-QB and Superflex leagues.

Raiders TE Michael Mayer (toe) is out for Week 17. That leaves Austin Hooper as the lead TE vs. the Colts’ 28th-ranked TE defense. You shouldn’t need to go there in season-long lineups, but Hooper is in play as a cheap DFS option.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (concussion, shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Raiders. He was a full-go in practice on Thursday and Friday. HC Shane Steichen said Friday that Pittman has cleared protocol and is on track to play against Vegas. We’ll get the Colts’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Rams WR Puka Nacua (hip) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Giants. He missed Friday's practice with what HC Sean McVay called hip tightness. McVay also said that Nacua should be fine for Sunday's game. He can stay penciled into Week 17 fantasy lineups for now. We'll get the Rams' inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Rams. He went from limited participation on Wednesday to full participation on Thursday back to limited on Friday. We'll look for more info on Robinson's status, but the quad adds some risk to his Week 17 fantasy profile.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. Between his injuries and QB C.J. Beathard under center, Jones is not a viable Week 17 fantasy play.

The Jaguars have ruled QB Trevor Lawrence out for Sunday's game against the Panthers. It's not a shock, given that Lawrence's right shoulder injury has kept him out of practice all week. But it will be the first game Lawrence has missed in his three NFL seasons. C.J. Beathard will start against a Panthers defense that's been the fourth-worst matchup for QBs and WRs and second-worst for TE scoring, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed. Carolina has been a positive matchup for RBs, though. Lawrence's absence can't hurt the opportunity count for Travis Etienne. Check our updated rankings to see where he and other Jaguars candidates land.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. So Zamir White will get another game as lead back. He's ripped off 17-69-1 and 22-145-0 rushing lines the past two weeks and is a nice Week 17 fantasy play against Indianapolis' 30th-ranked RB defense.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hip) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Rashee Rice, and Justin Watson operated as Kansas City’s top three WRs last week, with Richie James as the No. 4.

Chiefs CB L'Jarius Sneed is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. But he missed every practice this week with his calf injury. Even if Sneed turns up active, he'll carry significant re-injury risk. Weigh that in your lineup decisions. We have moved him down the Week 17 DB rankings.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (concussion, shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bengals. He only returned to a limited pracitce on Friday, but HC Andy Reid reportedly sounded optimistic about Pacheco’s availability for Sunday. We’ll keep you updated on his status. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is also listed as questionable after missing the final two practices of the week.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (illness) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable on the final Week 17 injury report. This is unlikely to keep him out of Sunday's game vs. the Bucs, but check back around 11:30 am ET that morning to make sure he's active.

Chargers WRs Keenan Allen (heel) and Josh Palmer (concussion) are out for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. That leaves Los Angeles with WRs Quentin Johnston, Jalen Guyton, Alex Erickson, and Derius Davis. None is a recommended Week 17 fantasy starter. RB Austin Ekeler and TE Gerald Everett could see more targets with Allen and Palmer out.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Packers. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. HC Kevin O’Connell expressed some optimism about Addison’s status on Friday, per ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, but added that more progress needs to be made. We’ll look for further updates on the rookie.

Packers WR Jayden Reed (toe, chest) put in three limited practices this week and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday night’s game vs. the Vikings. WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is doubtful, while Dontayvion Wicks (chest, ankle) is questionable but didn’t practice all week. It’ll likely be Reed and Romeo Doubs as Green Bay’s clear top two WRs in Minnesota.

Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (personal) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. It’s entirely unclear how work will be divvied between Foreman, Khalil Herbert, and Roschon Johnson, making it a situation to try to avoid in Week 17 fantasy lineups.

Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. He battled through this injury for much of last week’s game but played just one snap across Chicago's final two possessions. Kmet only got in a limited practice on Friday this week. He’ll obviously be at far less than 100% if he suits up on Sunday.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. It'll be some combination of WRs Tyler Scott, Equanimeous St. Brown, Velus Jones, Collin Johnson, and Trent Taylor behind top dog D.J. Moore. Moore is obviously the only viable fantasy play in this WR corps.
