Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney was added to the injury report with an Achilles and limited in practice on Thursday. There's no further information on his status right now. We'll see if Mooney practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Broncos.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren was added to the injury report with a back and did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details on his status right now, but his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens is now in question. Check back tomorrow for another update on Warren.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (ankle) returned to a full practice on Thursday. He'll be ready to go for this weekend's meeting with the Ravens. Baltimore has limited opposing RBs to the second-fewest rushing yards per game and just 3.2 yards per carry, leaving Harris as more of a RB3 this week.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was added to Thursday's injury report and limited in practice. He's listed with both "rest" and "knee." He's been on the injury report with the knee the past two weeks but hasn't seen impacted by it come game day. Jackson should be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.

Jets WR Davante Adams (wrist, illness) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. We still don't have any other information on the illness or wrist injury. We'll see if Adams practices tomorrow and then how he's listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Colts.

The Chiefs are placing K Harrison Butker on IR, knocking him out for the next four games, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Butker is undergoing surgery to trim the meniscus in his left knee, "though he'll be back for the home stretch and playoffs." Butker can be dropped in the vast majority of fantasy leagues. He sits outside the top 10 kickers in points per game in most scoring formats. The Chiefs are signing K Spencer Shrader off the Jets' practice squad to replace Butker, per Schefter. Schrader made both of his FG attempts for the Jets last week. We'd look elsewhere for a Week 11 fantasy kicker considering the Chiefs' matchup against a strong Bills defense,

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. It doesn't seem like he's dealing with a significant injury, but he's also not looking like a great bet to play vs. the Chiefs on Sunday. Buffalo then gets a Week 12 bye. TE Dawson Knox will be a viable TE1 spot starter this week if Kincaid is out.

Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's been limited in all six practices over the last two weeks before missing both of those games. "We’ll see how the week unfolds," HC Sean McDermott said of Cooper's status for Sunday's showdown vs. the Chiefs. We'll keep you updated on the situation, but fantasy players shouldn't be counting on Cooper in Week 11 lineups.

49ers TE George Kittle (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Kyle Shanahan doesn't seem worried about his status for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. "The concern level isn’t too high," Shanahan said Wednesday. "I expect to have him out at practice tomorrow. [The hamstring] is just irritated, we’ll be smart today. I feel pretty good about him." We'll keep you updated on Kittle, but he can stay penciled into Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (groin) did not practice on Wednesday. He missed Seattle's last game before the Week 10 bye and isn't looking like a great bet to make it back for this Sunday's game vs. the 49ers. Rookie TE A.J. Barner replaced Fant as the Seahawks' lead TE in Week 10, posting a 4-27-0 line on seven targets and an 86% route rate. He'd be in play as a cheap DFS flier if Fant is out again.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers. Metcalf was leading Seattle with 61 targets on a 24.3% target share through the first seven games of the season. He ranked fifth among WRs in expected PPR points per game over that stretch; 17th in actual points per game. Metcalf lands in high-end WR2 territory in our Week 11 PPR Rankings.

Vikings RB Aaron Jones (ribs) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. It's confirmation that he's on track to be ready for this weekend's game vs. the Titans. Jones currently checks in 16th among RBs in the Week 11 PPR Rankings.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He twisted his ankle in the second half of last week's win over the Commanders but was eventually able to return. We're expecting him to play against the Ravens this weekend but will keep you posted on his status. Harris is no better than a RB3 this week against Baltimore's 11th-ranked RB defense.

Bears HC Matt Eberflus told reporters Wednesday that S Jaquan Brisker will miss Sunday's game against the Packers. That'll mark five straight games lost to a Week 5 concussion. This is also the third straight season in which Brisker has missed multiple games following a concussion. He sat out two weeks in both 2022 and 2023 before returning to full-time duty in each case. This year's layoff also includes the Week 7 bye, between Brisker's first and second missed games.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That should put him on track to return for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. Likely isn't a viable fantasy starter, but his return knocks Mark Andrews from top-5 TE to low-end TE1.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Jets, but Pittman is no better than a WR4 with QB Anthony Richardson back at the controls. Rookie Adonai Mitchell figures to revert to the No. 4 spot on the depth chart with Pittman back.

Jets WR Davante Adams (wrist, illness) did not practice on Wednesday. It's unclear if it was the wrist, illness, or both that kept him out. Adams seemed to come out of the Week 10 loss to the Cardinals OK. We'll see if he gets back on the practice field tomorrow, but we're still tentatively expecting him to play vs. the Colts on Sunday.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) did not practice on Wednesday. Battling a torn ligament in his wrist, Hill probably won't practice much early in the week the rest of the season. We're expecting him to play his usual role against the Raiders on Sunday but will keep you updated on his status for that one.

Lions TE Sam LaPorta (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Dan Campbell said earlier this week that LaPorta's injury isn't serious, but that he could miss this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. Detroit would probably be just fine without LaPorta in that one. We're tentatively projecting him to miss Week 11 but will keep you updated on his status.

Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He got banged up in last week's loss to the Vikings, finishing with just two carries on 10 snaps. HC Doug Pederson said afterward that it was "nothing serious," but Bigsby's status bears monitoring over the next few days. His absence would make RB Travis Etienne a more palatable fantasy play against the Lions on Sunday.
