Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Ravens. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, which likely puts him on track to play. In that case, neither Everett nor Donald Parham will be a recommended fantasy starter against Baltimore’s ninth-ranked TE defense.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He tweaked his foot on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Bateman will play vs. the Chargers on Sunday night. But, assuming WRs Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham suit up, Bateman isn’t a viable fantasy option.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. He returned to a full practice on Friday after being sidelined on Thursday and told reporters that he’ll play. We’ll look for further updates on Flowers’ status, but he can stay penciled into Week 12 fantasy lineups for now. The matchup is awesome against the Chargers’ 29th-ranked WR defense.

Ravens WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers. He said Friday that he'll be a game-time decision and will be playing through pain if he does suit up. But Beckham was listed as a full participant in Friday's practice, so we're expecting him to play. He'd be a risk/reward fantasy start against the league’s 29th-ranked WR defense.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday to full participation on Friday. That progression suggests that Kupp will at least be reasonably close to 100% for this one. He’d be tough to leave out of Week 12 fantasy lineups against a Cardinals defense that ranks 20th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs and coughed up a 7-148-1 receiving line to Kupp back in Week 6.

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (heel) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Rams. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice and then sidelined on Thursday and Friday. Brown is seemingly in real danger of missing this one – and probably won’t be close to 100% if he does play. We’ll look for further updates on Brown’s status but won’t get Arizona’s inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET on Sunday. With WR Michael Wilson (shoulder) already ruled out, the Cardinals could be down to Greg Dortch and Rondale Moore as their top two WRs.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. He remained limited in practice all week, so he still has some work to do to clear the concussion protocol. Parker isn’t on the fantasy radar, but his return would add a bit more target competition for WR Demario Douglas.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. He was a full-go in practice all week, so we’re fully expecting him to play. OC Bobby Slowik confirmed earlier this week that Pierce and RB Devin Singletary will go back to sharing the workload. Singletary deserves to lead the backfield after his strong play the past two weeks, but he’s just a RB3 in fantasy lineups assuming Pierce plays on Sunday.

Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. Robert Woods will again operate as Houston’s No. 3 WR behind Tank Dell and Nico Collins this weekend.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (neck) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. He leads Giants WRs in pass routes and targets this season. Slayton’s absence figures to mean more playing time for WRs Jalin Hyatt and Isaiah Hodgins outside the numbers, but neither is a recommended Week 12 fantasy play.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills. Philadelphia is hoping to get him back for the Week 14 showdown vs. the Cowboys. TE Grant Calcaterra is also out for Week 12, leaving the Eagles with TEs Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam. Neither is a reliable fantasy play.

Falcons K Younghoe Koo (back) put in a full practice on Friday and isn’t listed on the final injury report for this weekend’s game vs. the Saints. He’s safe to use in Week 12 fantasy lineups.

Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle, shin) returned to a limited practice on Friday. We'll see what he does on Saturday and how he's listed on the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Vikings.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. WR DeAndre Hopkins is the only piece of this Tennessee passing game that should be in Week 12 fantasy lineups.

Steelers WR George Pickens (shin) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He went from no practice on Wednesday to limited participation on Thursday to full participation on Friday. The shin shouldn’t be an issue in this weekend’s game vs. the Bengals.

Rams HC Sean McVay suggested on Friday that RB Kyren Williams' workload could be scaled back in his return from his ankle injury this weekend. "We definitely want to be mindful of taking some snaps off him," McVay said. Williams played 88% of Los Angeles' offensive snaps between Weeks 2 and 6, averaging 16.4 carries and 4.4 targets per game. Don't expect him to play that big a role vs. the Cardinals on Sunday -- but we are expecting Williams to step back in as the Rams' clear lead back. See where he sits in the Week 12 RB Rankings.

Rams HC Sean McVay said Friday that WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) will play vs. the Cardinals this weekend. Kupp went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see what he does on Friday. It's safe to assume that Kupp won't be at 100% on Sunday, but he'd still be tough to keep out of fantasy lineups. He smoked the Cardinals for a 7-148-1 line back in Week 6

Jets WR Allen Lazard is a healthy scratch for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He has just 20 catches for 290 yards and one TD this season and has been charged with seven drops. New York will trot out some combination of WRs Xavier Gipson, Jason Brownlee, Irvin Charles, and Randall Cobb behind alpha Garrett Wilson.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jets. He got in three limited practices this week and was listed as questionable, so a Week 13 return seems possible. RBs Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson, and Darrynton Evans are active for Miami today. Mostert should handle the majority of the backfield work against New York’s 29th-ranked RB defense.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin will again operate as Cincinnati’s No. 2 and No. 3 WRs this weekend, but neither is an attractive fantasy play with QB Jake Browning.
