Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Commanders. He’ll again operate as Dallas’ No. 2 RB and is only in play as a cheap DFS flier.
Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday afternoon's game vs. the Jets. He was limited in practice all week. The Dolphins elevated RB Darrynton Evans from the practice squad on Thursday, which is an indication that they're not particularly optimistic about Achane's availability for this one. We'll get Miami's inactives around 1:30 pm ET on Friday.
Packers LB De'Vondre Campbell (neck) is inactive for today's game against the Lions. He seemed on track to play after putting in a full Wednesday practice. Instead Isaiah McDuffie should start in Campbell's place, next to Quay Walker. Check our updated Week 12 LB rankings.
Packers S Rudy Ford (biceps) and CB Jaire Alexander (shoulder) are inactive for today's game against the Lions. Injuries have shaken up that secondary and brought some big changes in our Week 12 DB rankings. Slot CB Keisean Nixon looks most interesting against Detroit.
Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (concussion, knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Lions. Green Bay’s No. 4 WR has totaled 17 targets (11.6% share) over the last four games. His absence is a slight boost for WRs Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Jayden Reed.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon (groin) is active for today’s game vs. the Lions. He was limited in practice this week and listed as questionable, but we’ve heard nothing to suggest that the groin will be an issue today. Dillon will operate as Green Bay’s lead ball-carrier with RB Aaron Jones out. But he lost passing-down work to RB Patrick Taylor in the three games Jones missed earlier this season, totaling just two targets. Dillon lands in RB3 territory in the Week 12 Rankings.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Buccaneers LB Lavonte David is "considered a long shot" to play against the Colts this week because of a groin injury. We have removed David from the Week 12 LB rankings and given LB Devin White a tackle boost. We'll have to watch White's status as well, as he missed Wednesday's practice with a foot issue. He started last week the same way, though, and wound up playing every snap. Expect rookie LB SirVocea Dennis to start in David's place.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini confirms that Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is not expected to play vs. the Bears on Monday night. That's been the vibe since HC Kevin O'Connell's comments earlier this week. Minnesota gets a Week 13 bye, and Jefferson should be ready to return for Week 14. We'll keep an eye on him the rest of this week, but he should remain on fantasy benches for now.
The Commanders have activated LB Cody Barton (ankle) from IR and left him off the final injury report ahead of today's game against the Cowboys. That means Barton should be ready to reassume his lead position at LB. We've moved him up the Week 12 LB rankings and knocked LB David Mayo out.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Seahawks RB Ken Walker (oblique) won't play vs. the 49ers tonight. But Rapoport adds that Walker "does not have a major injury" and "has a chance" to play in Week 13. It sounds like Zach Charbonnet might get just one game as Seattle's feature back. We highlighted the rookie as a potential sell candidate in this week's Fantasy Football Trade Targets, Sells, and Holds.
Packers LB De'Vondre Campbell (neck) returned to a full practice Wednesday after missing the previous two days. Green Bay lists him as questionable for the game, but the betting markets have his tackle lines live. That points to them expecting Campbell to play. We previously removed Campbell from the rankings but have returned him to the Week 12 LB rankings.
Chargers WR Jalen Guyton (groin) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He hurt his groin last Friday and then missed the Packers game. But Guyton seemingly has a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Ravens. His return would be a knock against WR Quentin Johnston -- but hopefully you weren't considering the struggling rookie anyway.
Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives him a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Ravens. Everett wouldn't be a recommended TE1, but his return would knock TE Donald Parham out of consideration.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. His injury reportedly isn't a long-term deal, but Beckham isn't a lock to play vs. the Chargers on Sunday night. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days.
Cardinals WR Michael Wilson (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. The rookie re-injured his shoulder last Friday and missed the Texans game. We'll see if he can get back on the practice field tomorrow. WR Greg Dortch stepped into a near every-down role with Wilson out last week.
Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. His ankle injury isn't serious by all accounts, but we're tentatively expecting Kupp to miss this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. We'll see if Kupp's outlook improves over the next couple of days.
Colts WR Josh Downs is not listed on the Week 12 injury report. He battled a knee injury the past couple of games but is evidently ready to go coming off the bye week. Downs gets a great matchup on Sunday vs. Tampa Bay's 27th-ranked WR defense.
Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. It's tough to imagine Pierce being reinstalled as lead back considering how awesome RB Devin Singletary has been the past two weeks. But Pierce will certainly cut into Singletary's workload. See where both guys sit in the Week 12 RB Rankings.
Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. At this point, fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him returning for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. That'd again leave Tank Dell, Nico Collins, and Robert Woods as Houston's top three WRs.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. That's not a good start for his chances of returning for this weekend's game vs. the Steelers. Higgins will be no better than a WR3 even when he does return with QB Jake Browning.
