Donald Parham Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chargers TE Donald Parham (shoulder) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Raiders. That figures to be a boost in playing time for TE Gerald Everett -- although he's still tough to trust in fantasy lineups with QB Easton Stick at the controls.

Chargers TE Donald Parham (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Raiders. Parham would be a TD-or-bust desperation fantasy start if he suits up. His absence would be a slight boost for TE Gerald Everett.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Ravens. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, so the chest shouldn’t be much of an issue. But the matchup with Baltimore’s ninth-ranked TE defense leaves Everett as a weak fantasy play.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) "likely" to play vs. the Ravens tonight, "barring any pre-game setbacks." Everett was a full participant in Friday's practice. He should return as Los Angeles' lead TE but isn't a recommended fantasy starter against Baltimore's ninth-ranked TE defense.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Ravens. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, which likely puts him on track to play. In that case, neither Everett nor Donald Parham will be a recommended fantasy starter against Baltimore’s ninth-ranked TE defense.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives him a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Ravens. Everett wouldn't be a recommended TE1, but his return would knock TE Donald Parham out of consideration.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. TE Donald Parham (hip) is off the injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday and is a viable Week 11 fantasy spot starter. Parham posted a 4-43-1 line on five targets when Everett missed Week 8. For the season, Parham leads the Chargers and ranks second among all TEs with seven end-zone targets.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (chest) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Packers this weekend. TE Donald Parham (hip) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report. If Parham plays and Everett misses, Parham will be in the mix as a Week 11 spot starter.

Chargers TEs Gerald Everett (back) and Donald Parham (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. Everett was knocked out of last weekend's game with the back injury. Parham's hip issue is a surprise. We'll see if one or both guys are able to practice on Thursday. Stone Smartt is the Chargers' top healthy TE.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Lions due to a back injury. We'll update his status when we learn more. Everett's absence leaves Los Angeles with TEs Donald Parham and Stone Smartt.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (hip) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Bears. That leaves Donald Parham as Los Angeles’ top TE – and an intriguing play in one-game DFS contests.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He was unable to return to last week's game in Kansas City after going down and is in danger of missing Sunday night's game vs. the Bears. Everett's absence would leave TE duties to Donald Parham and Stone Smartt.

Chargers TE Donald Parham (wrist) is active for tonight's game vs. the Cowboys. He's a TD-dependent flier in one-game DFS contests.

Chargers TE Donald Parham (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Chargers. He put in full practices on Friday and Saturday, so he seems likely to play. Parham isn't a fantasy option outside of one-game DFS contests, but his presence is a drain on TE Gerald Everett's fantasy value.

Chargers TE Donald Parham injured his right wrist in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Raiders and is questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Parham has been ruled out.

Chargers TE Gerald Everett ranked third on the team with 6 receptions in Sunday's win over the Vikings, snagging all of his targets while producing just 30 yards. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Everett also watched TE Donald Parham steal 2 TDs. Overall, Everett played just four more snaps than Parham and beat him 24-17 in routes. But that trailed the team's top 3 WRs by 10+ routes. Everett remains a meh fantasy option. And Parham doesn't draw enough targets to be startable in most fantasy formats.

The Chargers re-signed TE Donald Parham to a 2-year, $2.65 million deal. The 6'8 behemoth was not tendered as a restricted free agent by Los Angeles and ends up returning on a cheap deal, suggesting that he didn't find much interest on the open market. Parham has been just a part-time player through 3 NFL seasons, totaling 40 catches for 479 yards and 7 TDs. TE Gerald Everett had been mentioned as a potential cap casualty for the Chargers but remains on the roster as of mid-March. Unless that changes, Parham is only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy drafts.

Chargers TE Donald Parham has been placed on IR with his hamstring injury. He'll miss at least the next 4 games and can be dropped from all redraft rosters. Parham's absence is a slight boost for TE Gerald Everett.

Chargers TE Donald Parham did not practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury. He just cleared the concussion protocol but now looks iffy for this weekend's game vs. Atlanta. Parham's absence would be a slight boost to TE Gerald Everett's fantasy stock.

Chargers TE Donald Parham has cleared the concussion protocol and is on track to play vs. the Falcons this weekend. He's not a fantasy option but does add some downside to TE Gerald Everett. When we last saw Parham in Week 6, he ran a route on just 18% of pass plays and drew 3 targets (5% share).
