Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. "All signs are pointing in the right way," HC Dan Quinn said of Robinson. "We’re really gonna push it this week and make sure he can respond in the right way." We're tentatively projecting Robinson to return for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers but will keep you posted on his status.

Commanders K Austin Seibert (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He's been fantasy's No. 1 kicker so far this year, but fantasy managers will need to keep an eye on his status over the next few days leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Steelers.

49ers WRs Deebo Samuel (rib, oblique) and Jauan Jennings (hip) were limited in practice on Wednesday. That puts both guys on track to play vs. the Buccaneers this weekend. An active Samuel is a must-start. We'll see how snaps and targets are divvied between Jennings and Ricky Pearsall. Consider both guys WR4s with upside in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (toe) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to come out of Monday night's loss to the Chiefs OK, so we're guessing that this is more of a rest day. We'll see if Mayfield gets back on the field tomorrow. If he can't play vs. the 49ers on Sunday, Tampa Bay would turn to QB Kyle Trask.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. The fact that he did anything this early in the week bodes well for his availability for Sunday's game vs. the Saints. We're tentatively projecting London to play in that one but will keep you updated on his status.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. We'll see if he gets back on the field over the next two days, but fantasy owners should not be banking on JuJu playing against the Broncos this weekend.

Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited all three days last week before missing the Dolphins game, so this doesn't tell us much about his Week 10 status. Buffalo could certainly use Cooper vs. the Colts this weekend with WR Keon Coleman (wrist) likely out. We'll keep you updated on his status.

Panthers TE Tommy Tremble (back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Giants. Tremble has continued to play ahead of TE Ja'Tavion Sanders when healthy, despite the latter's impressive rookie campaign. Sanders can't be trusted in Week 10 fantasy lineups if Tremble is active.

Panthers WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. It looks like he suffered a setback in practice last week. Thielen seems unlikely to play vs. the Giants on Sunday, but we'll keep you updated on his status.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. He'll need to get back on the practice field tomorrow to have a chance to play vs. the Panthers in Germany on Sunday. At this point, fantasy owners should not be counting on having Slayton for Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee) is not listed on the final Week 10 injury report. He returned to a full practice on Wednesday after taking Tuesday off. Jackson remains a must-start for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals' 28th-ranked QB defense.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) missed practice all week and is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. Likely has matched TE Mark Andrews with a 61% route rate and averaged 3.8 targets per game this season. His absence should mean a boost in playing time for Andrews against Cincinnati, although it's always tough to know exactly what Baltimore's game plans will look like.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey was limited in practice on Wednesday. HC Kyle Shanahan said the veteran had "no pain," and we’re expecting CMC to make his 2024 debut against Tampa Bay. He’s a clear RB1 in our Week 10 RB rankings.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (quad) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. He didn't practice all week and won't play in that one. TE Mike Gesicki has been the beneficiary of Higgins' absences this season, averaging 6.8 targets, 5.5 catches, 70.5 yards, and 0.5 TDs in four outings without Higgins. Gesicki sits safely inside the top 10 TEs in our Week 10 Rankings.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (ankle) has been designated to return from IR. He'll practice on Wednesday, although it's unclear if he'll be cleared to play vs. the Titans this weekend. Edwards was operating as a distant No. 2 behind J.K. Dobbins before going down -- and might have even lost that job to rookie Kimani Vidal. Edwards should stay on fantasy waiver wires for now.

Panthers HC Dave Canales said Wednesday that RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) will be activated but wouldn't commit to him playing vs. the Giants this weekend. Carolina needed to activate Brooks this week or else he would have gone on season-ending IR. The rookie was a full-go in practice all last week, but the team continues to be exceedingly cautious with his return to game action. We'll keep you updated on the situation, but Brooks shouldn't be in your Week 10 fantasy plans.

Texans WR Nico Collins (hamstring) was not designated to return and will not practice on Wednesday, according to insider Aaron Wilson. "Collins has passed all tests for hamstring, no setbacks, per league sources, regained speed, mobility, ready to go," Wilson tweets. But the Texans are still deciding whether to activate Collins for Sunday night's game vs. the Lions. We'll see if Collins gets back on the practice field tomorrow.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said Wednesday that WR Keon Coleman came out of the Week 9 win over the Dolphins with a wrist injury. Coleman won't practice on Wednesday. And, while McDermott wouldn't rule him out for this weekend's game vs. the Colts, he also said Coleman could be sidelined "more than just this week." We'll keep an eye on Coleman's status over the next few days, but he shouldn't be part of your Week 10 fantasy plans.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said QB Trevor Lawrence is dealing with "upper-body" soreness and will be limited in Wednesday's practice. He wouldn't commit to Lawrence being available for this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. Jacksonville notably signed QB C.J. Beathard off Miami's practice squad on Wednesday for more depth. QB Mac Jones would start against Minnesota if Lawrence is unable. We'll keep you updated on the situation. Lawrence's absence would be a downgrade for Jacksonville's offense, although Jones is one of the better backups in the league.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday. He played a season-low 30% of the offensive snaps last week -- and it looks like we now know why. We'll see if Likely practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. His absence would likely mean a boost in playing time for TE Mark Andrews.
