Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock in an easy Week 3 win over the Patriots. He completed 27 of 35 passes (77%) for 281 yards (8.0 YPA), two TDs, and 0 INTs. Rodgers and WR Garrett Wilson weren't on the same page on a few routes (four of the eight incompletions were intended for Wilson), but Rodgers was otherwise deadly accurate to all levels of the field. He even flashed some remaining mobility, carrying three times for 18 yards and making multiple throws on the move. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Rodgers completed all five of his passes when on the run for 62 yards and a TD.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson mustered just 23 scoreless yards in Thursday night's loss to the Jets. He averaged 3.8 yards per carry on his six attempts and was not targeted. Stevenson appeared to suffer a finger injury midway through the second quarter and missed the rest of that possession. But he returned and played the entire second half. His bigger problem was that New England ran just 48 plays and was playing from behind throughout.

Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby (shoulder) got in a limited practice on Thursday. HC Doug Pederson said earlier this week that Bigsby's shoulder injury wasn't serious, and this limited practice puts him on track to play vs. the Bills on Monday night.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He said afterward that he took Wednesday off to rest a sore ankle but that it felt fine on Thursday. We'll see what Lamb does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report, but we're tentatively projecting him to play his usual role vs. the Ravens on Sunday.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hand) returned to a full practice on Thursday. It's confirmation that he'll be ready for his usual role vs. the Dolphins this weekend. Metcalf sits 14th in our Week 3 WR Rankings.

Titans RB Tyjae Spears (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That seemingly puts him on track to play vs. the Packers this weekend, but we'll see how Spears is listed on the final injury report tomorrow. He'd be no better than a low-end RB3 if he suits up, but he'd siphon touches from lead back Tony Pollard.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) did not practice on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Texans this weekend. We'll let you know how Addison is listed on the final injury report on Friday afternoon.

Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's in serious danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) also missed practice again on Thursday. Grab RB Cam Akers if he's available in your league. He'll be a top-30 RB play if Mixon and Pierce are out.

Colts K Matt Gay (quad) returned to a full practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. It looks like he'll be ready to kick vs. the Bears this weekend. He's not a great fantasy option with the Colts' implied total at 22.5 points.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley is inactive for tonight's game against the Patriots because of a toe injury. His absence leaves full-time duty for Jamien Sherwood next to Quincy Williams but doesn't change the outlook for the team defense. Check our updated LB rankings to see where the active Jets have landed.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Thursday. It was his first practice since hurting his hamstring exactly two weeks ago. Higgins seemingly has a shot to play vs. the Commanders on Monday night, but we'll keep you updated on his progress over the next few days. The timing of that game could make Higgins a tricky situation for fantasy owners.

Niners TE George Kittle missed practice with hamstring tightness Thursday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the TE's status for Sunday's game against the Rams "is in question."

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) did not practice on Thursday. That's five straight missed practices for the 32-year-old. He seems unlikely to play against the Colts this weekend, but we'll get another update on Allen's status tomorrow afternoon.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. HC Jim Harbaugh said yesterday that he expected Herbert to play vs. the Steelers this weekend -- and this puts him on track to do so. Herbert won't be at 100%, though. And the challenging matchup leaves him out of QB1 consideration.

Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) "has a chance" to play vs. the Titans this weekend, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays this week,” a Packers source told Schefter. “It’s definitely day-by-day like he said, and 50-50 at best right now.” Love was officially limited in Wednesday's practice.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Patriots because of a toe injury. Mosley didn't practice this week, which doesn't bode well for his outlook even if he's active. We've knocked him down the Week 3 rankings for that reason. If Mosley's out, then Jamien Sherwood would join Quincy Williams as full-timers.

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We're tentatively projecting him to play vs. the Ravens this weekend, but we'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. "Sounds like nothing major," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero tweeted. Lamb can stay penciled into Week 3 fantasy lineups for now. We'll let you know if he gets back on the practice field tomorrow.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. Miami could certainly use him with QB Skylar Thompson under center. We'll track Mostert's progress over the next few days.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hand) did not practice on Wednesday. We've seen nothing to suggest that he's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins, but his status bears monitoring over the next few days.
