Titans RB Tyjae Spears is in concussion protocol, HC Brian Callahan said Monday. It's Spears' first documented concussion but still leaves him no better than 50/50 for this weekend's game vs. the Texans. Spears' absence would make Tony Pollard a comfortable RB2 play. He's averaged 21.3 carries and 4.3 targets in three games without Spears this season.

Titans RB Tyjae Spears left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Vikings for a concussion check. No word yet on whether he's been placed in the protocol. We should get an update on Spears within the next 24 hours. This would be his first documented concussion.
