Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. He was limited in practice all week. HC Sean McVay sounded optimistic about Kupp’s progress throughout the week, so we’re tentatively projecting him to play. The Rams won’t release their inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET on Sunday, but we should get at least one more update on Kupp before then. He’ll be worth starting for the vast majority of fantasy teams if he ends up playing. WR Jordan Whittington (shoulder) is also listed as questionable but is fully expected to play.

Raiders RB Zamir White (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so he seems on track to play. It’s unclear how backfield touches will be divvied between White, Alexander Mattison, and Ameer Abdullah, so stay away from this situation in Week 7 fantasy lineups if you can help it.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (knee) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He was added on Thursday and held out of practice but will play vs. the Falcons on Sunday. Lockett sits just 44th among WRs in PPR points per game through Week 6 but has some WR3 appeal this week in a game with shootout potential.

Patriots QB Drake Maye (knee) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He reportedly went for an MRI on his knee after Wednesday’s practice but was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. There’s no reason to believe the knee will be a factor in Sunday morning’s game vs. the Jaguars.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jaguars in London. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice and said that he expects to play. We’ll get New England’s inactives around 8 am ET on Sunday. Assuming Stevenson is active, he should slide back in as the Patriots’ lead back.

Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Lions. He got in three limited practices this week, after returning to practice last Friday. We’re not expecting Hockenson to play in this one but will get Minnesota’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Vikings RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Lions. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport called Jones “likely” to play on Friday morning. We’ll get Minnesota’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. Jones will be tough to leave out of fantasy lineups if he ends up playing.

Jets WR Davante Adams (hamstring) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll make his Jets debut vs. the Steelers on Sunday night. Considering his familiarity with QB Aaron Rodgers, we’re projecting Adams to play close to a full allotment of snaps. He lands inside the top-24 WRs in the Week 7 Rankings.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday morning’s game vs. the Patriots. "I think Etienne is progressing,” HC Doug Pederson said Friday. “We still haven't made a decision yet. We're going to get through tomorrow, could be game-time [decision].” We’ll get Jacksonville’s inactives at 8 am ET on Sunday. This will be a tough backfield to project if Etienne ends up active.

Titans QB Will Levis (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills. He went from limited on Wednesday to full on Thursday and then back to limited on Friday. We’re expecting Levis to start against Buffalo, but he’s not even a recommended QB2. Mason Rudolph will get the nod if Levis ends up out.

Jets TE Tyler Conklin (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Steelers. He played through this issue last week, but his route rate sunk to a season-low 66%. He’s also now contending with the addition of WR Davante Adams. Conklin is not a recommended Week 7 fantasy starter.

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. So the Raiders will again roll with WRs Tre Tucker, D.J. Turner, Kristian Wilkerson, and Alex Bachman. Try to avoid that group in fantasy lineups. TE Brock Bowers should be in for a ton of targets again.

Bills RB James Cook (toe) is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. He practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. It looks like Cook will be somewhere close to 100% for this one. RB Ray Davis, meanwhile, is listed as questionable with a calf issue. HC Sean McDermott said that Davis hurt his calf near the end of last week’s game and was bothered by it again on Thursday. The rookie was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. It’s still unclear if he’ll make his 2024 debut vs. the 49ers on Sunday. Edwards-Helaire should not be in your fantasy plans, but his return would add a bit more risk to RB Kareem Hunt’s Week 7 outlook.

Giants RB Devin Singletary (groin) was limited in practice all week but is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. Per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the Giants will “keep an eye on Singletary to see how he’s doing off groin injury. So they will likely ease him back into game action.” HC Brian Daboll also said that RB Tyrone Tracy will “get plenty of playing time.” It sounds like there’s a chance Tracy continues to lead this backfield in Week 7.

Saints HC Dennis Allen said Friday that QB Derek Carr (oblique) has a chance to play in Week 8 and will "very likely" be back at least by Week 9. Carr is scheduled to resume throwing on Saturday. "This is a functionality question," Allen added. We'll track Carr's progress next week. It's unclear if QB Spencer Rattler or QB Jake Haener will start vs. the Chargers next week if Carr remains out. Rattler was knocked out of the Thursday night loss to the Broncos with a hip pointer but will likely be available for Week 8.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (concussion) is not listed on the final Week 7 injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles and will play his usual role. Nabers averaged 13.0 targets, 8.8 catches, 97 yards, and 0.8 TDs per game over the first four weeks of the season. Get him back into fantasy lineups.

Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers. He was added to the injury report on Thursday with what HC Andy Reid called a hamstring "spasm" but was able to practice on Friday. Reid "sounded optimistic" about Smith-Schuster's availability for Sunday's game, according to Arrowhead Pride's Pete Sweeney. We'll look for further updates on Smith-Schuster's status but won't get Kansas City's inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday. For now, JuJu can stay penciled into fantasy lineups.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills. HC Brian Callahan said that Burks might wind up on IR with a knee injury that he apparently suffered in Wednesday’s practice. Burks has totaled eight targets in five games this season, so there’s very little fantasy impact here.

Titans RB Tyjae Spears (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bills. That should leave RB Tony Pollard in a workhorse role. He handled 12 of 13 RB opportunities (carries + targets) after Spears exited last week’s game.
