Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Commanders WR Noah Brown led the team in targets (6), receptions (5), and receiving yards (60) in Sunday's victory over the Giants. That marked a season high in receptions, with the yards trailing only his hail mary-driven 73 yards in Week 8 against the Bears.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton had 10 targets against the Ravens, catching seven for 122 yards. He also threw a TD pass to QB Bo Nix. Despite the performance, the Broncos were crushed 41-10 by the Ravens.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson dominated the stout Denver Broncos defense with his arm, completing 16-of-19 passes for 280 yards and three TDs. He only ran three times for four yards on the day.

Broncos QB Bo Nix had a disappointing day throwing for 223 yards and an interception with no passing TDs. He did catch a TD pass from WR Courtland Sutton in the game, but was unable to take advantage of a soft Ravens defense.

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin caught just two passes for 19 yards among 3 targets in Sunday's win over the Giants. But they both went for TDs, from 1 and 18 yards out.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb injured his right shoulder in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. He was able to return -- but aggravated the issue late in the fourth quarter. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Lamb returned to catch a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter but was obviously hurting.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott left Week 9 with a hamstring injury and was ruled out in the 4th quarter. Cooper Rush has taken over under center.

Seahawks LB Ernest Jones is active for today's game against the Rams. He was questionable with neck stiffness that popped up late in the week. But Jones should be ready for normal IDP usage.

Rams WR Puka Nacua (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Seahawks. He aggravated his knee injury on Thursday and did not practice on Friday. But Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said this afternoon that Nacua will be a “full go” today. Get him in fantasy lineups.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Lions. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, but we’ve heard nothing about the ankle being an issue today. The bigger concern is the matchup against Detroit’s second-ranked RB defense.

Packers QB Jordan Love (groin) is active for today’s game vs. the Lions. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday but figures to be operating at far less than 100% today. Rain and wind is also expected in Green Bay for this one.

Bears Edge Montez Sweat (shin) is inactive for today's game against the Cardinals. Chicago will also miss slot CB Kyler Gordon (hamstring).

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas (chest) is active for today’s game vs. the Eagles. WR Gabe Davis (shoulder) is inactive. The chest injury adds some risk to Thomas’ Week 9 fantasy profile, but he also carries elevated target upside with Davis and WR Christian Kirk out. See where Thomas sits in the Week 9 WR Rankings.

Jaguars RBs Travis Etienne (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (ankle) are active for today’s game vs. the Eagles. We’ll see exactly how carries are split between them in Etienne’s first action since Week 6. But Etienne is a strong bet to handle passing-down work. That’s important with the Jaguars 7.5-point underdogs in Philadelphia.

Panthers WR Xavier Legette is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Saints after suffering a hand injury late in the second quarter. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Legette returned for the start of the second half.

Bengals TE Erick All injured his right knee in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Raiders and is officially doubtful to return. That's the same knee in which he tore his ACL in 2023. We'll update All's status when we know more.

Falcons WR Drake London suffered a hip injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: London was ruled out in the second quarter.

Saints WR Chris Olave suffered an apparent concussion in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. Olave has sustained four documented concussions, including one in Week 6 of this season. He could be looking at an extended absence.

Update: Olave has been ruled out with a concussion. "He has movement in all extremities and is undergoing further evaluation at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center," the team said in a statement.

NFL Network reports that the Bears are removing CB Tyrique Stevenson from the starting lineup for today's game against the Cardinals. Terell Smith will start in place of Stevenson, who got caught taunting Washington fans at the start of last week's hail mary play -- and then tipped the ball before WR Noah Brown snagged it for the game-winning TD. We'll see about Stevenson's role beyond not starting, and whether this is just a one-week disciplinary action.

Rams WR Puka Nacua (knee) will be a "full-go" against the Seahawks later today, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer. Get Nacua into Week 9 fantasy lineups.
