Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, but London’s injury never seemed serious. His floor might be a bit lower than usual this week, but London still belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups.

Saints RB Jamaal Williams (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Falcons. Jordan Mims will be the No. 2 RB. But look for another busy outing for RB Alvin Kamara, with TE Taysom Hill mixing in for a handful of carries.

Panthers RB Miles Sanders was carted off the field in the second quarter of Sunday morning's game vs. the Panthers and is officially doubtful to return with a foot/ankle injury. RB Chuba Hubbard will continue to dominate backfield work the rest of the way. Carolina has a Week 11 bye and allegedly might actually play RB Jonathon Brooks in Week 12.

ESPN's Adam Schefter said on NFL Countdown that RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) "will be out there in full force" vs. the Buccaneers today. "The 49ers thought they were gonna give him half the work today. But with the way that he's looked in practice the last two weeks, I think their expectations rose," Schefter added. McCaffrey belongs in all Week 10 fantasy lineups and is a strong DFS tournament play.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is a "true game-time decision" for Monday night's game vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hill first injured his wrist in a joint practice with the Commanders back in August, per Pelissero, and tweaked it again in last week's loss to the Bills. He didn't practice on Friday or Saturday and is officially listed as questionable. Hill did travel with the team to Los Angeles. "That's a good sign," Pelissero adds. "But they might not know until warmups whether or not he's actually going to play." This is obviously a tough situation for Hill's fantasy owners. If you have a strong (think top-20 WR) replacement option, benching Hill is just fine. Otherwise, we'd lean toward waiting on him -- with a replacement from this game on your roster as insurance.

Steelers WR Mike Williams is expected to play vs. the Commanders today but is not expected to be a full-go, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. That's not a surprise considering Williams was traded to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. "My understanding is he's been rejuvenated by the fresh start," Pelissero adds. "He's done a good job of picking things up since he's been able to get there. And they like his enthusiasm and his energy. Down the line they see him as a one-on-one guy that can give them size in the red zone." We remain skeptical that Williams will emerge as a reliable fantasy option as the No. 2 WR in this run-leaning Steelers offense. But we'll keep an eye on his playing time and target share. Williams should not be in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

The Panthers get S Jordan Fuller and Edge D.J. Wonnum back from injuries for today's game against the Giants. Each player is active and expected to start. Edge Charles Harris, meanwhile, turned up as a healthy scratch to make room. He had seen starter-level work since Week 3.

Texans WR Nico Collins (hamstring) is a game-time decision for tonight's meeting with the Lions, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Collins was moved onto the active roster on Saturday but is still listed as questionable. He's been out since Week 5 and only got in a limited practice on Friday this week. We'll look for further updates on Collins, but we might not find out whether he's playing until a little before 7 pm ET. Fantasy owners hoping to start Collins should have a replacement option rostered from the Texans, Lions, Rams, or Dolphins.

There's a "strong possibility" that the Cowboys use QB Trey Lance in certain packages vs. the Eagles today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. QB Cooper Rush will get the start and figures to play the majority of snaps. But we could see Dallas take advantage of Lance's athleticism, particularly in short-yardage and red-zone situations. You should be avoiding Cowboys QBs in Week 10 fantasy lineups. The Lance news isn't great for WR CeeDee Lamb, but he still belongs in most fantasy lineups.

Giants K Graham Gano (hamstring) is active for this morning’s game vs. the Panthers. It’ll be his first action since Week 2. You can likely do better than Gano in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Panthers TE Tommy Tremble (back) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Giants. That keeps TE Ja’Tavion Sanders in play as a fringe fantasy starter. The rookie has posted 5-49-0, 6-61-0, and 4-87-0 lines in his last three games without Tremble.

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is inactive for this morning’s game vs. the Giants in Germany. NFL Network’s Sara Walsh reports that Brooks could make his debut after the Week 11 bye. But, at this point, we’ll believe that when we see it. Brooks’ absence today locks in Chuba Hubbard as a strong RB2 play.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, oblique) is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers today, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Samuel was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable. But, barring a report on his snaps being limited today, Samuel belongs locked into Week 10 fantasy lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) will play vs. the Buccaneers today. "The team believes McCaffrey could have played last week," Schefter adds. The news has been all positive on McCaffrey for a while now. We'll keep an eye out for any updates on his expected workload today. But, as of now, we're projecting him to play something close to his normal role.

Jaguars WRs Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) are expected to play vs. the Vikings today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Thomas played through his injury last week and never seemed to be in danger of missing this one. Davis sat out last week and would be a shaky fantasy play today, especially with QB Mac Jones at the controls. Davis' return should push WR Parker Washington back into the slot, giving him a favorable matchup against CB Byron Murphy.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) won't play against the Vikings today. "The question is whether Lawrence will make it back for next Sunday vs. the Lions or whether the team will give him one more week off with Jacksonville’s bye coming the week after," Schefter adds. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Lawrence is dealing with a "significant AC joint sprain" that could eventually require surgery, "though the current plan is for rest and rehab." QB Mac Jones will make his Jaguars debut today.

Commanders K Austin Seibert (hip) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. He'll be replaced by K Zane Gonzalez, who isn't a recommended fantasy play in the third-worst kicker matchup of the week.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is expected to play against the Saints on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. London is listed as questionable, but he got in three limited practices this week and never seemed to be dealing with a significant injury. There's a bit more risk with London this week, but he belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups.

Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) put in a full practice on Saturday and is not listed on the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Dolphins. He'll be ready for his usual duties as the Rams' No. 3 WR in that one.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. He was added to the injury report on Friday and missed the final two practices of the week.
