Drake London Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Falcons are benching QB Kirk Cousins and going to QB Michael Penix, according to both NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter. Atlanta stuck with Cousins for too long, losing four of the last five and falling out of first place in the NFC South. They beat the Raiders on Monday night in spite of Cousins, who completed just 11 of 17 passes for 112 yards, one TD, and one INT. Penix obviously lacks Cousins' experience but should prove to be a big upgrade in terms of arm talent. We'd still expect the Falcons to be a run-heavy offense going forward, especially as big favorites over the Giants this weekend.

Falcons WR Drake London had 10 targets against the Vikings, but was only able to haul in 70 yards. He also didn’t find the end zone for the fourth game in a row. His teammates had better fantasy days with Darnell Mooney catching six of seven targets for 142 yards while Ray-Ray McCloud caught eight of 11 targets for 98 yards.

Falcons QB Kirk Cousins tied a career high with 4 INTs in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. He managed only 6.3 yards per attempt and a low 61.5% completion rate.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was held without a catch in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. He's now been held to 1 or fewer catches in three of his past four games.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is not listed on the final Week 13 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice but returned to a full workout on Friday. London should be ready for his typical role against the Chargers this weekend.

Falcons WR Drake London was added to Thursday's injury report with a hip injury and limited in practice. We'll see if he's able to practice tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers.

Falcons WR Drake London tallied 8 receptions for 97 yards on 12 targets in Sunday's loss to the Saints. He led the team in all three categories, an especially nice showing after London entered the game questionable with the hip injury that knocked him out of Week 9.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, but London’s injury never seemed serious. His floor might be a bit lower than usual this week, but London still belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is expected to play against the Saints on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. London is listed as questionable, but he got in three limited practices this week and never seemed to be dealing with a significant injury. There's a bit more risk with London this week, but he belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints. He was limited in practice all week. Reports on London’s injury and status for this one have been positive, so we’re tentatively expecting him to play. But we’ll keep you updated on the situation and get Atlanta’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. The fact that he did anything this early in the week bodes well for his availability for Sunday's game vs. the Saints. We're tentatively projecting London to play in that one but will keep you updated on his status.

Falcons HC Raheem Morris labeled WR Drake London "day to day" with his hip and oblique injuries. It's the latest indication that London dodged a significant injury. He seemingly has a chance to play vs. the Saints on Sunday, but we'll keep you posted on his status throughout the week.

Falcons WR Drake London suffered a hip pointer and an oblique strain in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, according to Underdog's James Palmer. "It doesn't appear to be a serious concern," Palmer adds. The injuries were enough to keep London out of the Dallas game, but it sounds like he has a chance to be available for next weekend's meeting with the Saints. We'll keep tabs on London's status throughout this coming week.

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney recorded 5 catches, 88 yards, and 1 score in a Week 9 win over Dallas. Mooney saw a team-high 9 targets – a huge 37.5% share – boosted by the first-half departure of Drake London (hip).

Falcons WR Drake London suffered a hip injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: London was ruled out in the second quarter.

Falcons WR Drake London only caught four of his six targets for 34 yards in the Falcons win over the Buccaneers. On a day when QB Kirk Cousins threw for 276 yards and four TDs, London came up on the short end of the stick.

Falcons WR Drake London has caught a TD in three straight games and in five of the last six. He finished catching 6-of-8 targets against the Seahawks for 63 yards and a TD.

Falcons WR Drake London caught 12 of 13 targets for 154 yards and a score in Thursday night's 36-30 overtime win over the Bucs. Atlanta attacked the seams of Tampa Bay's Cover 3 defense all night, with London doing a lot of the damage. He opened the scoring with an 18-yard catch-and-run TD on the first drive of the game. London created big separation and then spun off a would-be tackler to get into the end zone. He had four other catches of 15+ yards on the night, including an 18-yarder on third and three in overtime. London appeared to suffer a chest injury on that catch and exited the game. WR KhaDarel Hodge, filling in for London, scored the game-winning TD on the next play. London did a post-game interview and was going bananas in the post-game locker room celebration, though, so it doesn't seem like the injury is serious.

Falcons WR Drake London had another solid game leading the Falcons in targets on Sunday Night Football. He ended the game catching six of his nine targets for 67 yards and an early TD.
