Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was held without a catch in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. He's now been held to 1 or fewer catches in three of his past four games.
Here's HC Raheem Morris on Pitts' quiet day:
“We’ve got so many people that we’ve gotta get the ball to. Sometimes those days happen. I would like to see Kyle get more production. I would like to see him have more opportunities. And whether that’s us getting it to him, or him doing a better job, we’ll figure those things out as we go.”
This one's ugly. Since Week 9, Pitts' target shares have gone 4%, 15%, 11%, and 6% on Sunday. He’s totaled 6 catches over that stretch.
Making matters worse is the dip in play from Kirk Cousins, who’s just 21st among 42 QBs in Pro Football Focus passing grade. He’s tied for 18th in adjusted completion rate.
Pitts will remain a low-floor fantasy option for a Week 14 game at Minnesota.
Pitts' inability to earn targets has helped Drake London and Darnell Mooney flourish. London saw a whopping 16 targets in this one, generating 9 grabs for 86 yards. Mooney saw 6 looks but was quiet coming off a hamstring injury, tallying 3 catches for 20 yards.
TreVeyon Henderson’s highlight reel screams fantasy stardom — but is he built to handle more than a complementary role?
