Josh Allen Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills QB Josh Allen threw for a season-low 147 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets. He went just 16 of 27 passing, with 1 TD, taking 3 sacks along the way. Allen saved his fantasy line with 1 TD and 47 yards on 10 rushing attempts. That helped him crack 20 fantasy points for just the 2nd time among his past 5 outings, by ESPN scoring. Favorable matchups with the Dolphins and Bears await the next 2 weeks.

Bills QB Josh Allen was far from peak performance in Sunday's narrow win at Detroit, completing just 57% of his passes for 253 yards and an INT. But he also delivered 2 TD throws and ran for 78 yards and another TD to post a strong score for fantasy football lineups. Allen now gets just the usual layoff before next Thursday night's visit to New England. After that comes a home rematch with the Jets, who limited him to 205 yards in Week 9 and snagged 2 INTs.

Bills QB Josh Allen threw for a mere 197 yards and 1 TD in Sunday's win over the Browns, adding just 7 yards on 3 rushing attempts. Those marked season lows in each yardage category for Allen, but it was his 3rd straight game with 1 TD pass or fewer. We weren't concerned when he just happened to run for 2 scores against the Jets. But the past 2 have followed the right-elbow injury he suffered late in that game. It's worth noting that Buffalo leaned run much more than usual against Cleveland, logging just 30 dropbacks vs. 33 rushing attempts. A Thanksgiving Day game at Detroit just 4 days from this one will be a good test for that elbow and signal what the Bills want to do on offense.

Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) was limited in practice all week but isn’t listed on the final injury report. That right elbow likely still isn’t at 100%, but it didn’t seem to be much of an issue last week and isn’t a concern for Allen vs. the Browns on Sunday.

The NFL is moving Sunday's Bills-Browns game to Detroit, according to The Athletic's Tim Graham. Buffalo is expected to get pounded with 4+ feet of snow over the next few days. Moving from those conditions to a dome is obviously great news for all of the fantasy players in this game.

Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) was limited in Wednesday's practice. It's a reminder that he's still not at 100%. But Allen is fully expected to start Sunday's game vs. the Browns and remains a high-end fantasy option.

Bills QB Josh Allen delivered 330 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs in Sunday’s OT loss to the Vikings. 84 rushing yards put him over the top as a high-end QB1. All in all, his right elbow looked fine in this one, and it didn’t limit his downfield opportunities. Allen went 3 of 6 (with 1 INT and 1 drop) on passes of 20+ air yards. His decision-making failed him at times, though. On the bright side, Allen managed to escape this one without a setback. Week 11 turns up a fine home matchup with Cleveland.

Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) will start today's game vs. the Vikings, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. It's nice to have confirmation after earlier reports that Allen wasn't on the field for the start of warmups. The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia reports that Allen was under center when Buffalo went to 11-on-11s. Allen carries more risk than usual playing through that elbow injury, but he still belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups. DraftKings sports book has Allen's passing yardage prop set at 252.5.

Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) is officially active for today’s game vs. the Vikings. He got in just a limited practice on Friday and carries elevated risk in Week 10 fantasy lineups. But there’s still plenty of upside here. See where Allen sits in the QB Rankings.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) "likely" to start today's game vs. the Vikings. That jibes with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport's Saturday report. "Bills officials spent intensive time this past week leaning on and listening to their doctors and other arm specialists, and the team was reassured that Allen is not at any added risk to make the injury worse if he plays," a source tells Schefter. We'll get Buffalo's inactives around 11:30 am ET, but Allen can be penciled into fantasy lineups for now.
