Week 4 DraftKings Cash-Game Picks

Top Plays for DraftKings Head-to-Head and 50/50 Contests

Here are the guys I’m considering for DraftKings Week 4 head-to-heads and 50/50s:

Quarterbacks

Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($6,800)

Headshot of Kyler Murray

Using QBs (and pass catchers) against the Commanders remains one of the most profitable plays in DFS.

Through three weeks, Washington ranks:

Even without TE Trey McBride (concussion), it’s tough to imagine Murray failing in this spot. His Cardinals have a big 26.5-point implied total – highest on the week.

Also consider:

  • Justin Fields, Steelers ($5,500)

Running Backs

Breece Hall, Jets ($7,800)

Headshot of Breece Hall

Despite RB Braelon Allen’s emergence, Hall’s role remains awesome. He’s averaging 15.3 carries and 6.3 targets per game. He’s handled both of the Jets’ carries inside the five-yard line. And he ranks fourth among RBs in expected PPR points per game.

Hall’s Jets are 7.5-point home favorites with a 23.5-point implied total this weekend vs. the Broncos. Denver ranks 26th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs and just lost starting LB Alex Singleton to a torn ACL.

Brian Robinson, Commanders ($6,100)

Headshot of Brian Robinson Jr.

Robinson ranks 17th among RBs in PPR points per game through three weeks.

He’s getting nice usage, sitting 17th at his position in expected PPR points per game. And he’s running well, ranking ninth in NFL Next Gen Stats’ rush yards over expected per attempt.

Robinson should get a volume boost this weekend – particularly in the passing game – with RB Austin Ekeler out. That solidifies his floor even if Washington falls behind in Arizona.

The Commanders are 3.5-point underdogs, but the game has a week-high 49-point over/under.

Najee Harris, Steelers ($5,600)

Headshot of Najee Harris

Harris is averaging 18.3 carries and 3.0 targets per game through three weeks. He could top both marks this weekend with RB Jaylen Warren out with his knee injury.

Harris also draws a plus matchup against the Colts, who rank 18th in run defense DVOA and 24th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs. Indianapolis coughed up 159 rushing yards to Joe Mixon in Week 1 and 151 to Josh Jacobs in Week 2 before drawing an inept Bears running game last week.

Indianapolis will be without DLs DeForest Buckner and Kwity Paye on Sunday.

Also consider:

  • Saquon Barkley, Eagles ($8,000)
  • Bijan Robinson, Falcons ($7,400)
  • James Conner, Cardinals ($6,500)
  • Aaron Jones, Vikings ($6,400)
  • Chuba Hubbard, Panthers ($5,700)

Wide Receivers

Rashee Rice, Chiefs ($7,300)

Headshot of Rashee Rice

Rice’s role was made for cash games. He’s drawing a ton of targets. And most of them are high-percentage looks.

Through three weeks, he’s racked up 29 targets on a 5.2-yard average target depth. Nine of Rice’s targets have come behind the line of scrimmage, and another 13 have come within nine yards of the line of scrimmage.

So, not surprisingly, Rice has caught a whopping 83% of his targets.

He might not have blowup potential in Week 4 against a banged-up Chargers team that might have trouble scoring. But Rice’s role gives him one of the highest floors at this position.

Stefon Diggs, Texans ($6,600)

Headshot of Stefon Diggs

Diggs ranks 15th among WRs with 24 targets through three games. He should find even more volume this weekend with WR Tank Dell sidelined.

Diggs’ Texans are sporting a big 25.5-point implied total for this home game against a struggling Jacksonville defense. The Jaguars rank dead last in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs, providing a 94% scoring boost to the position so far.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Broncos ($3,100)

Lil’Jordan?!? Hear me out.

Here are the target totals for Denver’s lead slot receiver so far this season:

  • Week 1 - 8
  • Week 2 - 5
  • Week 3 - 9

WR Devaughn Vele scored 11.9 DraftKings points in the opener. Humphrey has taken over slot duties the past two weeks, tallying 9.0 and 9.7 points.

With WR Courtland Sutton dealing with Jets CB Sauce Gardner this weekend, we could see even more volume funneled to Humphrey.

He’s a nice punt play that let’s us load up elsewhere.

Also consider:

  • Nico Collins, Texans ($7,200)
  • Diontae Johnson, Panthers ($5,600)
  • Darnell Mooney, Falcons ($4,400)
  • Greg Dortch, Cardinals ($4,300)

Tight End

Tyler Conklin, Jets ($3,600)

Headshot of Tyler Conklin

Conklin is coming off a big Week 3: Five catches for 93 yards.

He totaled just two catches over his first two games, but his playing time has been strong all along. Conklin has registered an 85+% route rate in all three games so far. His 90% route rate on the season leads all TEs.

With WR Garrett Wilson dealing with a Patrick Surtain shadow this weekend, targets should flow in Conklin’s direction.

Also consider:

  • Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($5,100)
  • Tommy Tremble, Panthers ($2,700)

Defense/Special Teams

Bears ($3,100)

Despite their surprising Week 3 win, the Rams offense still looks like one to attack with our DSTs. WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp remain out. And they still have three starting offensive linemen on IR.

The Bears are averaging 11.7 DraftKings points per game, with 3+ sacks and/or multiple takeaways in every game.

Also consider:

  • Texans ($3,000)
  • Rams ($2,800)
