Dynasty Analysis

Chicago's offensive struggles limited Odunze’s rookie-year production. He finished as the PPR WR46, but there were flashes of upside. New HC Ben Johnson has already talked about getting Odunze going in 2025. And an upgraded O-line should help keep QB Caleb Williams on track. Avoid selling low on this former Round 1 WR.

Rome Odunze Player Comp

Braylon Edwards

Odunze's size and frame allow him to work inside or outside like Edwards. Plenty of flashes that could make him an NFL #1 WR.

Rebound Coming for Cole Kmet?

Rebound Coming for Cole Kmet?

Bears reporter Chris Emma believes “it’s reasonable to believe” that TE Cole Kmet “can be a dynamic threat” with new HC Ben Johnson. Emma predicts Kmet will set statistical career highs in 2025.

The Bears are finalizing a deal to make Ben Johnson their new HC, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Johnson has been one of the hottest names in coaching circles for a couple of years now. He's helped the Lions to three straight top-5 finishes in both points and total yards. Detroit ranked seventh in offensive DVOA in 2022, fifth in 2023, and third this past year. Johnson had plenty of talent work with on those Lions teams but maximized that talent with creative and effective play calling. This will be his first go as a HC.

Bears WR Rome Odunze found the end zone twice in the second half catching four of five tagrtes for 42 yards. The entire Bears’ offense struggled with much of their scoring coming in a catch up attempt in the second half.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (ankle) returned to a full practice on Thursday. He'll be ready to roll for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers. WR D.J. Moore (quad) missed practice again, though, leaving his Week 14 status up in the air. We'll see if Moore gets on the field tomorrow. His absence would boost the fantasy outlooks on both Allen and WR Rome Odunze.
