Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Ravens have ruled CB Marlon Humphrey (calf) out for Saturday's game against the Steelers. They list S Kyle Hamilton (knee), CB Brandon Stephens (ankle), and CB Ronald Darby (illness) as questionable. We've had Humphrey, Hamilton, and Stephens out of the DB rankings all week. Even if Hamilton and/or Stephens plays, there's little reason for Baltimore to keep either starter on the field for usual full-time duty. Darby remains in there because he's a fill-in level DB. If he's active, he'll be OK to use in deeper IDP leagues.

Patriots TE Hunter Henry (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. Mike Gesicki will get another game as New England’s lead TE. He’s caught six of eight targets for 50 yards and 1 TD with Henry out the past two weeks.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Bills. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out the previous two days. We’ll look for an update on Waddle’s status on Sunday morning. We won’t get Miami’s inactives until a little before 7 pm ET.

The Steelers list S Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) and LB Elandon Roberts (pec) as questionable for Saturday's game against the Ravens. Each guy remained limited in practice all week and will carry some risk even if active. We'll check their statuses ahead of Saturday's kickoff.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Bills. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for an update on Mostert’s status on Sunday morning. We won’t get Miami’s inactives until a little before 7 pm ET.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (heel) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. He said Thursday that he expects to be ready for the Wild Card playoff game next weekend. WRs Elijah Moore (concussion) and Marquise Goodwin (knee) are listed as questionable. Both guys will likely be held out of this meaningless game. Cedric Tillman is the best target bet in Cleveland's WR corps this weekend.

Lions WR Jameson Williams (ankle, illness) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Vikings. We’ll see if he can make it back for next week’s Wild Card game. Williams’ absence will free up some snaps for WRs Josh Reynolds, Kalif Raymond, and Donovan Peoples-Jones.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. HC Doug Pederson said Friday that Jones is healthier now than he was at this time last week and is expected to play on Sunday.

Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans after a limited week of practice. He’s been out since early-December core-muscle surgery. We’ll see whether Jacksonville activates Kirk on Saturday afternoon. If he plays, he’d be a risk/reward fantasy start coming off the groin injury and with QB Trevor Lawrence set to play through his throwing-shoulder injury.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave (kidney) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears. He was limited in practice all week. HC Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Musgrave has a realistic chance to play this weekend. He’s been out since suffering a lacerated kidney back in Week 11 and wouldn't be a bankable Week 18 fantasy play. But Musgrave’s return would put a significant dent in TE Tucker Kraft's value.

Packers WRs Jayden Reed (chest), Christian Watson (hamstring), and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears. Wicks put in full practices on Thursday and Friday, so he should play. Reed was limited all week, but we’re tentatively expecting him to play. Watson got in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday before taking a planned day off on Friday. “We felt he had two good days of practice and wanted to give him today and we’ll see where he’s at on Sunday,” HC Matt LaFleur said of Watson on Friday. Watson would be a risky fantasy play if he ends up active for the Bears game.

Falcons QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints. QB Desmond Ridder will be back under center if Heinicke can’t go. It’s not a situation to mess with in Week 18 fantasy lineups.

Chargers WR Josh Palmer has cleared concussion protocol and will play vs. the Chiefs this weekend. He's the best bet for targets in the Keenan Allen-less WR corps, but Palmer still isn't an exciting fantasy play with QB Easton Stick under center.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (heel) is out for Sunday's finale vs. the Chiefs. He finishes his age-31 season with a career-high 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven TDs in 13 games. Allen is signed for the 2024 season -- but at a $34.7 million cap hit. We'll see how the Chargers handle that situation.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney (concussion) is out for Sunday’s finale vs. the Packers. WR D.J. Moore should continue to dominate targets from QB Justin Fields.

Bears TE Cole Kmet (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice, so he should play. Kmet went catch-less on just 13 snaps last week but is seemingly healthier now.

Bears RB Khalil Herbert (back, personal) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then sidelined on Friday. Herbert’s absence would presumably leave Chicago’s backfield to Roschon Johnson and D’Onta Foreman, who has not played the past two weeks.

Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb, neck) is out for Sunday’s regular-season finale vs. the Bears. That should leave RB Aaron Jones in a workhorse role in this must-win game.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s finale vs. the Browns. He’ll wind up missing five games and parts of a few others in a disappointing 2023 campaign. We’ll see if Cincinnati lets Higgins hit the free-agent market this offseason. He’ll be replaced by some combination of WRs Trenton Irwin and Andrei Iosivas this weekend.

Titans QB Ryan Tannehill will start Sunday's finale vs. the Jaguars, HC Mike Vrabel said. Rookie Will Levis (foot) will be the No. 3 QB for the game. Tannehill has some DFS tournament appeal against a pass-funnel Jacksonville defense that ranks 27th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs.
