Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Mike Tomlin said earlier this week that he expected Warren to be limited today. We're tentatively projecting him to miss Sunday's game vs. the Colts. RB Najee Harris didn't practice on Wednesday but is listed with "rest." He'll be ready for this weekend's game and will be busy if Warren sits.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf delivered a big Week 3 on the back of a 71-yard deep ball TD. He finished the day with 4 grabs for 105 yards on a 17.6% target share.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson is inactive for today's game vs. the Chargers. The rookie has been working back from a significant ankle injury but was left off this week's final injury report. Wilson is not worth rostering in any redraft leagues right now.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He’s ready to make his debut against the Chargers on Sunday. We’ll see how big a role the rookie plays, but he’s well off the fantasy radar right now.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hand) returned to a full practice on Thursday. It's confirmation that he'll be ready for his usual role vs. the Dolphins this weekend. Metcalf sits 14th in our Week 3 WR Rankings.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hand) did not practice on Wednesday. We've seen nothing to suggest that he's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins, but his status bears monitoring over the next few days.

Steelers WR George Pickens took a step back in a Week 2 win over Denver. After a dynamic opener, the young WR managed only 2 catches for 29 yards on Sunday. However, Pickens came close to a huge fantasy day.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf ended with a final stat line of 10 catches on 14 targets for 129 yards and a TD. He caught the 56-yard TD in the first quarter and was heavily involved in the Seahawks game plan after a disappointing Week 1. Metcalf still looked to be the primary X WR for the Seahawks and should continue to be used a ton.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Broncos. We’ll see if the rookie is able to make his NFL debut next week, but he’s well off the redraft radar right now.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos after a limited week of practice. We’ll see if the rookie is ready to make his debut, but he shouldn’t be in your Week 2 fantasy plans.

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin suggested Tuesday that RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) still isn't at 100%. Per PennLive's Nick Farabaugh, Tomlin said Warren is "healthy enough" but that it'd be a "slippery slope" to say that Warren is fully healthy.

Steelers WR George Pickens caught 6 of his 7 targets for 85 yards from QB Justin Fields in Week 1 against the Falcons. Though the Steelers did not score a TD in the game, Pickens was a heavy part of the passing game.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 1 injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. It doesn’t look like the hamstring will be a factor in Sunday’s opener vs. the Falcons. But, with QB Justin Fields projected to start, Warren sits in low RB3 territory in the Week 1 Rankings.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. He got in three limited practices this week, so he has a good chance to make his NFL debut in Week 2. Van Jefferson and Calvin Austin figure to operate as Pittsburgh’s No. 2 and 3 WRs in the opener, but neither is a viable fantasy play.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. The fact that he was on the field at all puts him on track to be available for Sunday's opener vs. the Falcons. What he does over the next two days -- and how he's listed on the final injury report -- will give us a better idea of how much work he's in for. Warren sits lower than usual at 36th in the Week 1 RB Rankings.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) said Monday that he expects to play Week 1. He did some light work off to the side of Monday's practice -- nine days after hurting his hamstring.

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that RB Jaylen Warren will be sidelined this week but that his hamstring injury is "not anything that's a long-term concern."

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with the hamstring injury he suffered in Saturday's preseason game vs. the Bills, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Pittsburgh's season-opener is three weeks away, and Pelissero confirms that Warren's availability for Week 1 is "in doubt."

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Saturday night's preseason game vs. the Bills. The team labeled him doubtful to return (which he obviously won't).

Steelers WR Roman Wilson is considered "week-to-week" with the ankle injury he suffered in Tuesday's practice, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "He could miss some time, but the injury does not appear serious," Fowler adds. It's relatively good news after Wilson had to be carted back to the locker room.
