Steelers WR Roman Wilson is considered "week-to-week" with the ankle injury he suffered in Tuesday's practice, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. It sounds like Wilson should be ready for the start of the regular season. But the missed camp and preseason time is bad news for the rookie's chances of earning an early-season role.
Wilson had a quiet spring but had reportedly been coming on early in camp. That momentum is halted now.
We'll see when Wilson gets back on the field. He still has a decent chance to become Pittsburgh's No. 2 WR at some point this season, but he's a long shot to be a fantasy asset early this year. That makes Wilson undraftable in most managed redraft leagues.
