Bills WR Stefon Diggs hauled just 6 of 12 targets for 58 receiving yards and a TD in Week 7’s surprising loss vs. the Patriots. A star player like Diggs catching only half of his passes isn’t super ideal, but fantasy managers can’t be too upset considering he found paydirt in the contest. Buffalo’s leading pass-catcher on Sunday was rookie TE Dalton Kincaid. The first-year player finally broke out, roping in all 8 of his targets for a team-leading 75 receiving yards. He and fellow TE Dawson Knox played on a similar number of offensive snaps (43 and 45, respectively) though Kincaid out-targeted his counterpart by a margin of 5. We’ll be interested to see if this is trend continues on Thursday night’s Week 8 game vs. the Buccaneers.
Bills WR Stefon Diggs delivered a star performance in Week 6, logging 10 catches on 16 targets for 100 receiving yards vs. the Giants. Beyond him, no other Bills’ pass-catcher exceeded 3 catches or 25 receiving yards in the contest. Sunday night saw an uncharacteristically lousy performance from Buffalo, though their collective efforts were enough to pull out the victory. Next week’s divisional showdown vs. the struggling Patriots should present solid grounds for more Bills besides Diggs to deliver fantasy production.
Texans WR Nico Collins hauled 4 of 6 targets for a team-high 80 receiving yards in Week 6’s win vs. the Saints. TE Dalton Schultz also had a good game, posting 4 catches for 61 yards and a TD on Sunday. After a slow start to the season, Schultz has now recorded at least 40 receiving yards and 1 TD in three consecutive games. We won’t see the Texans again until Week 8 vs. the Panthers. Hopefully, by then, fantasy managers will have rookie WR Nathaniel ‘Tank’ Dell (concussion) back in the fold.
For the fourth time this season, Texans RB Dameon Pierce failed to exceed 40 rushing yards. The second-year back tallied 13 carries for 34 yards in Week 6 vs. the Saints and saw no involvement as a pass-catcher. His teammate Devin Singletary logged a team-high 58 rushing yards and added 1 catch on 2 targets on Sunday. The Texans are set to go on their bye week next weekend, but Pierce shouldn’t be thought of as much more than a flex option until further notice.
Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 13 of 27 pass attempts for 199 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT in Week 6’s win vs. the Saints. Though the rookie posted his lowest passing yardage total this season, his 14.2 fantasy points ranked 10th among QBs entering Sunday night. Stroud has proven to be a reliable fantasy option in 2023 and is set to go on bye in Week 7. His next game comes in Week 8 vs. the Panthers.
Texans WR Robert Woods (ribs) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so he should be ready for a full slate of snaps today. With WR Tank Dell out with his concussion, Woods is a viable WR4 in PPR leagues.

Texans TE Dalton Schultz led the team with 10 targets, seven catches, and 65 yards in the Week 5 loss to the Falcons. He also scored the team's only TD, breaking loose from 18 yards out with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter. It was easily the best game of the season for Schultz, who had totaled just 10 catches on 17 targets through the first four games. Houston lost WRs Tank Dell (concussion) and Robert Woods (ribs) in Atlanta, though. If those guys miss more time, Schultz will have an opportunity to soak up more targets. The bad news is that he gets a tough Week 6 matchup vs. a Saints defense that entered this week ranked fifth in adjusted fantasy points allowed to TEs.
Bengals RB Joe Mixon recorded 25 carries for 81 rushing yards in Week 5’s win vs. the Cardinals. The veteran also added 4 catches on as many targets for 13 receiving yards in the contest. Through five games, Mixon holds an obscenely high 87% opportunity share of the Bengals’ RB touches. It’s insane how much involvement he sees on a weekly basis. He’ll be right back to his typical workhorse role again in Week 6 vs. the Seahawks.
Texans RB Dameon Pierce totaled 82 scoreless yards in Sunday's loss to the Falcons. More importantly, he dominated backfield work. Pierce handled all 20 RB carries and got one of two RB targets. He now has just 12 targets through five games. But Pierce is up to 84 carries, including 44 over the last two weeks. RB Devin Singletary has just seven carries over the last two games. Houston's offense struggled for most of the game in Atlanta, but this remains an ascending unit that just got starting OTs Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard back. With Pierce looking like a borderline workhorse, he's a nice trade target heading into Week 6.

Teammate Gabriel Davis also posted a 100-yard game to go along with 6 catches and a TD in the contest. Though neither player produced much in the box score, it’s worth mentioning that TE Dawson Knox out-targeted rookie Dalton Kincaid 6 to 2 on Sunday. The pair is now tied with 19 targets apiece this year, but the split in work makes it difficult to trust either moving forward. We’ll get another look at the Bills in Week 6 vs. the Giants.
Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 16 of 30 passes for 306 yards and 2 TDs in a Week 4 win over Pittsburgh. Despite continuing to play without multiple O-linemen, Stroud delivered several dimes while going without a turnover. Two of his scores went to Nico Collins, with the other going to Dalton Schultz. Stroud has now hit 280+ yards in three straight. The rookie enters a neutral matchup at Atlanta in Week 5.
