Zay Flowers Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley will start Saturday's regular-season finale vs. the Steelers, HC John Harbaugh said Wednesday. QB Lamar Jackson will get the day off after Baltimore clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed last week. We'll see whether Baltimore plans to play other key regulars like RB Gus Edwards, WRs Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham, and TE Isaiah Likely. They'd all make for risky Week 18 fantasy starts.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) "could be on a pitch count" vs. the Dolphins today, according to The Athletic's Jonas Shaffer. It's a rather vague report that we haven't seen corroborated elsewhere. We'll look for more on Flowers over the next 40 minutes. We're not adjusting his Week 17 projections for now, although he certainly comes with elevated risk today.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, adding some risk to his Week 17 fantasy profile. We’ve at least heard nothing about Flowers’ snaps being limited today.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is expected to play vs. the Dolphins on Sunday, according to insider Jordan Schultz. Flowers only got in a limited practice on Friday this week, so he'll carry a bit more risk than usual in Week 17 fantasy lineups.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Dolphins. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more info on Flowers’ status and get Baltimore’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details on the calf issue or Flowers' availability for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (calf) did not practice on Wednesday. Baltimore is on a short week after Monday night's big win over the 49ers, so we're guessing this is more of a rest day for Flowers. We'll see if he gets back on the practice field tomorrow.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (foot) is active for tonight's game vs. the 49ers. He put in full practices on Friday and Saturday, so we’re not expecting the foot to be a significant factor.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (foot) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the 49ers. He put in full practices on Friday and Saturday, so Flowers can be trusted in Week 16 fantasy lineups. We'll let you know if something changes with his status.

The forecast for today's Rams-Ravens game calls for a 97% chance of rain with winds of 10-15 mph and gusts up to 30. Expect lots of running from both offenses in this one. The over/under has dropped from 45.0 to 42.0 -- although the Ravens are still implied for a solid 24.75 points. See the updated projections for this game.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hip) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Chargers. He was sidelined on Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday and told reporters that he’d play in this one. Flowers seems safe to get into fantasy lineups against the Chargers’ 29th-ranked WR defense.

Ravens WRs Zay Flowers (hip) and Odell Beckham (shoulder) are expected to play vs. the Chargers tonight. Both guys were full participants in Friday's practice. Flowers expressed no concern about the hip on Friday and seems safe to get into Week 12 fantasy lineups. Beckham, on the other hand, admitted that he'll be playing through pain. There's likely re-injury risk if he takes a hit or lands hard on that injured shoulder.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. He returned to a full practice on Friday after being sidelined on Thursday and told reporters that he’ll play. We’ll look for further updates on Flowers’ status, but he can stay penciled into Week 12 fantasy lineups for now. The matchup is awesome against the Chargers’ 29th-ranked WR defense.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (hip) went from a limited practice on Wednesday to no practice on Thursday. It looks like he hurt his hip on Wednesday and is in danger of missing Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers. We'll see if Flowers is able to practice tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews found the end zone twice on Sunday vs. the Lions, with catches on 4 of 6 targets for 63 yards. WR Zay Flowers was also productive in the contest, hauling 4 of 6 targets catches for 75 receiving yards. This was a rather impressive performance from the Ravens’ offense considering how tough the Lions’ defense has been to open 2023. We like their odds of continuing their dominance next week vs. the lowly Cardinals.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers logged 6 catches for 50 receiving yards on Sunday vs. the Titans. The rookie also recorded his first career TD in the second quarter of the contest. TE Mark Andrews recorded a team-high 69 receiving yards with 4 catches on 6 targets in Week 6. The Ravens’ passing game hasn’t been explosive thus far in 2023, but Flowers and Andrews routinely deliver fantasy-viable production weekly. They’ll go up against the Lions in Week 7.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews found the end zone twice on Sunday, hauling all 5 targets for 80 yards in the victory vs. the Browns. Rookie WR Zay Flowers had a quiet day, though 3 catches on 4 targets for 56 yards are respectable totals. The Ravens’ passing attack has yet to go full throttle this season, though Week 5 vs. the Steelers will be a good spot for these pass-catchers to thrive.

Ravens WRs Odell Beckham (ankle) and Rashod Bateman (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. That leaves Nelson Agholor as Baltimore's No. 2 WR and Devin Duvernay as the No. 3. Expect a run-heavy attack from the Ravens, with WR Zay Flowers and TE Mark Andrews dominating targets.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers recorded team-highs in targets (10), catches (8), and receiving yards (48) in Sunday’s OT loss vs. the Colts. TE Mark Andrews saw some action as well, hauling in 4 of 5 targets for 45 yards in the Week 3 contest. The Ravens’ aerial attack hasn’t come out in full force yet this season, though both Flowers and Andrews have had solid fantasy relevance. The duo will look to continue their successes next week vs. the Browns.

WR Nelson Agholor led the Ravens with 63 receiving yards in Sunday's win over the Bengals. His 5 catches tied TE Mark Andrews for the team lead and included a 17-yard TD. Agholor benefited from WR Odell Beckham Jr. leaving early with an ankle injury. WR Zay Flowers fell just 1 yard short of Agholor, with a 4-62 receiving line on 5 targets. WR Rashod Bateman drew just three looks, catching all three for 18 yards. We'll see about Beckham's status for a Week 3 home date with the Colts. Even if he's out, though, we wouldn't make Agholor a priority pickup on waivers this week.
