Ravens WR Zay Flowers missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday and entered Sunday’s game questionable with an ankle. He was active against Cleveland, though, and delivered 7 grabs for 115 yards in an upset loss.
Flowers looked just fine on a couple of catch-and-run opportunities. And Baltimore clearly wasn’t interested in limiting his reps. He paced all Baltimore pass catchers in snaps (59), finishing just behind Rashod Bateman in routes run (42).
Flowers’ 12 targets also led the team by seven.
We’ll keep an eye on his practice participation, but Flowers should be fine to deploy against Denver in Week 9. The Broncos simply supply a negative matchup.
WR Rashod Bateman entered the game with four catches in three straight games. But he managed only one grab against Cleveland and dropped one downfield pass where the sun may have been a factor.
Bateman remains best utilized in deeper formats.
