The Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken tweets, "It would surprise many close to situation if Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) starts Sunday vs. Vikings." On top of his calf issue, Prescott left the team on Friday following the death of his grandmother. He's back with the team now and traveled to Minnesota. But Gehlken notes that backup QB Cooper Rush saw the "most meaningful reps" of the practice week. At this point, we're leaning toward Prescott missing Sunday night's game. But we'll see if we get a more concrete update on Sunday morning.

It's worth noting that Dallas has a Week 7 bye, so it's possible we don't see Gallup again until Week 8. He's not a must-hold in shallower fantasy leagues. WR Cedrick Wilson ran a route on 85% of Dallas' pass plays after Gallup exited Thursday night's opener and is worth a look on waiver wires. Gallup's absence, of course, will also free up targets for WRs Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb.
