CeeDee Lamb Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

6:17pm EST 11/21/21

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb sustained a concussion at the end of the 1st half of Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs. He's done for the day and might have trouble getting cleared in time for Thursday's game vs. the Raiders. We'll track his progress through the protocol.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper has landed on the COVID list. He's out for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs and the Thanksgiving game vs. the Raiders. Cooper's absence should mean target boosts for CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz. Cedrick Wilson is the favorite for #3 WR duties, but Noah Brown and Malik Turner might also mix in.

Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) are active for today’s game vs. the Broncos. Both guys were listed as questionable but expected to play. They come with a bit more risk than usual in Week 9 fantasy lineups.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) will play vs. the Broncos today. Both guys are listed as questionable but can penciled into fantasy lineups. We'll get Dallas' inactives around 11:30 am ET.

Cowboys WRs CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and Amari Cooper (hamstring) are listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Broncos. Lamb hurt his ankle in Wednesday’s practice, was sidelined on Thursday and returned to a limited practice on Friday. Cooper put in 3 limited practices this week. Both guys are expected to play on Sunday. We’ll let you know if that changes.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) officially did not participate in Thursday's practice. HC Mike McCarthy said earlier in the day that Lamb would be limited. He was spotted doing some work with resistance bands before practice started. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb suffered an ankle injury in Wednesday's practice, HC Mike McCarthy said. Lamb is expected to be limited on Thursday. The fact that he'll be out there at all is encouraging, but we'll need to keep an eye on him leading up to Sunday's game vs. the Broncos.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Vikings. He was seemingly close to playing, but Dallas is playing it safe here. We’re expecting Prescott back next week. QB Cooper Rush makes his 1st career start tonight -- a clear downgrade for Cowboys pass catchers.

The Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken tweets, "It would surprise many close to situation if Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) starts Sunday vs. Vikings." On top of his calf issue, Prescott left the team on Friday following the death of his grandmother. He's back with the team now and traveled to Minnesota. But Gehlken notes that backup QB Cooper Rush saw the "most meaningful reps" of the practice week. At this point, we're leaning toward Prescott missing Sunday night's game. But we'll see if we get a more concrete update on Sunday morning.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Vikings. He was limited in practice all week. Prescott felt and looked good in practice by all accounts, but he’s admitted that the team has the final say on whether he plays Sunday night. That decision is expected to be made on Saturday. QB Cooper Rush will make his 1st career start if Prescott is out. Stay tuned.

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup is expected to be sidelined 3-5 weeks with a calf strain, The Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken reports. Gallup figures to land on short-term IR. It's worth noting that Dallas has a Week 7 bye, so it's possible we don't see Gallup again until Week 8. He's not a must-hold in shallower fantasy leagues. WR Cedrick Wilson ran a route on 85% of Dallas' pass plays after Gallup exited Thursday night's opener and is worth a look on waiver wires. Gallup's absence, of course, will also free up targets for WRs Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb has been activated from the COVID list. He'll be ready to rock for next Thursday's opener vs. the Bucs.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb has landed on the COVID list. The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins reports that Lamb is fully vaccinated, so it should be a short stay. We'll keep you updated, but consider Lamb's fantasy stock unaffected for now.

Cowboys OC Kellen Moore said Friday that WR CeeDee Lamb will “play all over the field” in year 2. Lamb ran 95.4% of his routes from the slot as a rookie, but Moore pointed to the COVID offseason as a limiting factor. The Oklahoma product carries top-12 upside into the fall.
