DeVonta Smith, WR PHI

2:57pm EST 12/1/24

DeVonta Smith INACTIVE

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Ravens. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, so we’re tentatively expecting him back for Week 14. WR Johnny Wilson (hamstring) is also out today, leaving Philadelphia thin at WR. It’ll be Jahan Dotson, Britain Covey, Parris Campbell, and Ainias Smith behind A.J. Brown. Brown and TE Dallas Goedert should soak up a ton of Eagles targets today.

Dynasty Write-up
Smith spent five seasons at Texas A&M, including a 2022 cut short by a fractured left leg. Listed as a WR, he showed versatility by earning reps at RB – primarily in 2020 (43 attempts) – alongside Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane. Smith’s college production never wowed, and he’s unlikely to become a high-volume target in the NFL. But he has the run-after-catch skill set to thrive in the slot – if he can stay healthy. Doctors discovered a stress fracture in his shin at the NFL Combine, per insider Ian Rapoport.
