Chiefs Fear Torn ACL For Rashee Rice

Underdog Fantasy's James Palmer reports that the Chiefs fear WR Rashee Rice tore his right ACL in the Week 4 win over the Chargers. Rice is scheduled for an MRI on Monday, but doctors can often accurately diagnose a torn ACL without scans. If confirmed, Rice's 2024 season would be over.

Chiefs WR Marquise Brown suffered a sternoclavicular joint dislocation in his left shoulder in Saturday's preseason game, HC Andy Reid said afterward. Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship vs. the Ravens. He went from a full practice on Wednesday to limited practices on Thursday and Friday. WR Skyy Moore (knee) has been ruled out. Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Mecole Hardman have been Kansas City's top four WRs in terms of pass routes in each of the Chiefs' two playoff games so far.

Chiefs WRs Rashee Rice (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (hip, ankle) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers. Rice would presumably be playing if this game meant anything, but we'll track his status during next week's prep for the Wild Card Round. Kansas City will have WRs Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Richie James, Mecole Hardman, and Justyn Ross available on Sunday.

The Chiefs activated WR Mecole Hardman (thumb) from IR, setting him up to play vs. the Bengals on Sunday. Hardman will add some depth to Kansas City's WR corps but isn't a realistic fantasy play. He averaged 2.5 targets, 2.0 catches, and 10 receiving yards across four games with the Chiefs earlier this season.
