Charvarius Ward Injury History & Analysis

Niners CB Charvarius Ward (Knee) is inactive for tonight's game against the Seahawks. It's a bit surprising after he managed limited practices the past two days and entered the night questionable. That leaves San Francisco without its top corner against the league's leading offense in passing volume. Ward's absence particularly helps DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the outside.

Niners Edge Nick Bosa (rib) and CB Charvarius Ward (hamstring, knee) are active for today's game against the Rams. Both look ready for IDP use as planned.

DL Arik Armstead "might miss one more game," HC Kyle Shanahan told reporters Monday. DT Javon Hargrave (hamstring) and CB Charvarius Ward (groin) have a "chance" to play.
