Laviska Shenault Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars WR Jamal Agnew will miss the rest of the season with the hip injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the 49ers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Agnew had emerged as a big part of Jacksonville's passing attack, averaging 6.3 targets over the last 6 games. Look for WR Marvin Jones, WR Laviska Shenault and TE Dan Arnold to pick up that volume.

Jaguars WR D.J. Chark has been placed on IR and will miss the rest of the season with his fractured ankle. Tavon Austin somewhat unbelievably stepped in as Jacksonville's #3 WR after Chark exited Thursday night's game in Cincinnati, but we wouldn't bother adding him to fantasy rosters. WRs Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault should pick up extra volume with Chark out of the picture

Jaguars WR D.J. Chark suffered a left leg injury in the 1st quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals and had to be carted off the field. We'll update his status when we know more. WRs Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault will pick up more work with Chark out.

Update: Chark fractured his left ankle, according to multiple reports. He'll obviously miss the rest of the season. We'll see about his status heading into 2022.

Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault (shoulder) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’s safe to use as you normally would for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals.

Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault (shoulder) put in a full practice on Wednesday. Shenault underwent an MRI on Monday that evidently revealed no major issues. He'll be out there for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals.

Jaguars HC Urban Meyer says WR Laviska Shenault (shoulder) “should” play this week, per beat writer John Shipley. We’ll follow Shenault's practice participation over the next few days. Through 2 weeks, the 2nd-year WR has just 47 yards on 9 catches.

Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he'll have an MRI Monday. We'll see about the severity of the issue.

Jaguars coaches are "buzzing" about WR Laviska Shenault, according to insider Hays Carlyon. Shenault has garnered heaps of praise from beat writers for his work in OTAs and minicamp -- and it sounds like Jacksonville's coaching staff has seen the same thing. Shenault turned in a promising rookie season and is getting a big QB upgrade in Trevor Lawrence this year. He's a 2021 breakout candidate.
