Keenan Allen Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Chargers WRs Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) are active for tonight’s game vs. the Chiefs. Both guys were limited in Wednesday and Thursday’s practices and upgraded to full participation on Friday. Their presence is excellent news for QB Justin Herbert.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that both Chargers WRs Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) are expected to play tonight against the Chiefs. Both are officially questionable, which adds some risk to waiting for the Sunday night kickoff. But each also finished the week with a full practice.

Chargers WRs Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) are listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chiefs. Both guys were limited in Wednesday and Thursday’s practices and upgraded to full participation on Friday. That seemingly has both on track to play on Sunday night. We’d try not to use Allen in fantasy lineups considering he’s been dealing with hamstring trouble since Week 1. Williams carries elevated risk coming off the high-ankle sprain but is probably worth starting on most fantasy teams.

Chargers WR Mike Williams (ankle), WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) and TE Gerald Everett (groin) were all limited on Thursday for the 2nd straight practice. We'll see what they're able to do tomorrow and then how they're listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs.

Chargers WRs Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) were listed as limited participants in Wednesday's practice. HC Brandon Staley said both guys took part in individual drills. We'll see how they progress leading up to Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs. QB Justin Herbert could certainly use his top 2 WRs.

Chargers WRs Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) will be back at practice this week, HC Brandon Staley said Monday. We'll see if they're out there on Wednesday and, if so, at what level of participation. But Williams and Allen at least have a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Chiefs.

Chargers WRs Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) are out for Sunday night’s game vs. the 49ers. Williams is probably still a couple of weeks away from returning from his high-ankle sprain. Allen has no timetable to return from his lingering hamstring problem. Josh Palmer will again operate as Los Angeles’ top WR this weekend, with DeAndre Carter the #2.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's a big long shot to play vs. the 49ers this weekend, again leaving Josh Palmer and DeAndre Carter as Los Angeles' top 2 WRs.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. HC Brandon Staley called him "day to day," but don't count on Allen returning for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. He suffered a setback with that hamstring while training over the bye week and didn't practice at all this week. Allen said he's not returning until he's back to 100%, so consider him iffy for Week 10. WR Mike Williams (ankle) is also out for Sunday's game, while WR DeAndre Carter was added to the injury report on Friday and is listed as questionable with an illness. We'll see if he's able to suit up come Sunday. Josh Palmer should lead Chargers WRs in targets against Atlanta's 31st-ranked WR defense. Los Angeles' other healthy WRs are Michael Bandy and Jason Moore. WRs Joe Reed, John Hightower and Keelan Doss are on the practice squad. RB Austin Ekeler and TE Gerald Everett also project for strong volume this weekend.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Falcons this weekend.

ESPN's Lindsay Thiry reports that Chargers WR Keenan Allen says his bothersome hamstring "got worse" during training over the bye week. Allen added that he won't be playing limited snaps the next time he takes the field but that "it will be all or nothing, with his hamstring absolutely ready to go," according to Thiry. That seems to indicate he's not a great bet to play Sunday against the Falcons. We'll certainly be watching this situation. The Chargers will already be without WR Mike Williams (ankle), so Josh Palmer and DeAndre Carter might be the lead duo at Atlanta.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen will not practice on Wednesday as he continues dealing with hamstring trouble. “We are being careful with him," HC Brandon Staley said. "It hasn’t responded the way we have wanted." It's concerning news with the Chargers coming off their bye week. It sounds like Allen isn't even a lock to play vs. the Falcons this weekend -- and will probably be on some type of snap count if he does.
