Gus Edwards Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

11:31am EST 11/20/22

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. That again leaves backfield duties to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill. Drake racked up 24 carries and 2 targets in Baltimore’s win over the Saints, prior to the Week 10 bye.

We've got a good ol' fashioned Rapoport vs. Schefter battle on our hands! NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is not expected to play vs. the Panthers today. Schefter reports that Edwards is expected to play, "but it could be in a limited manner." It sounds Edwards should be on fantasy benches even if he ends up active today. But his status will have a significant impact on where RB Kenyan Drake settles in the final RB Rankings. We'll get Baltimore's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

The Ravens don't expect RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) to play today against the Panthers, "though a pregame workout could change minds," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We'll obviously be watching for confirmation, but plan on RB Kenyan Drake leading the Baltimore backfield in this one.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. Edwards led Ravens RBs with 16 carries in his lone healthy game this season, but his Week 11 volume is uncertain coming off this hamstring injury.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) put in another limited practice on Thursday. He's seemingly on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That should put him on track to play vs. the Panthers this weekend, but we'll track his progress over the next few days.

As expected, Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Saints. We're expecting Kenyan Drake to operate as Baltimore's lead back, with RB Justice Hill the #2.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. His absence leaves Baltimore's backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill. Drake is the best bet to lead the way in touches.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) missed practice again on Friday. It's looking like he'll miss Monday night's game vs. the Saints, which would leave Baltimore's backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. We're tentatively expecting Edwards to miss Monday night's game vs. the Saints, leaving Baltimore's backfield to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards has a "minor" hamstring strain, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. He reports that Edwards will be questionable for the Monday night visit to New Orleans in Week 9 "but hasn't been ruled out." The uncertainty on Edwards makes Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill each worth a look in waiver runs this week. We'd target Drake first, after he worked ahead of Hill each of the past 2 weeks.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards' hamstring injury is considered "minor," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears. "If he misses time, it’s likely just a week or so," Rapoport adds. Baltimore has a Week 10 bye, so it seems most likely that Edwards is held out of next Sunday's game vs. the Saints. But we'll keep an eye on him when the Ravens return to practice on Wednesday.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards suffered a hamstring injury in the 4th quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs. He's officially questionable to return, but we'd be surprised if he gets back out there. Edwards' absence leaves Baltimore with RBs Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

6:51pm EDT 10/27/22

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (knee) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Bucs. He was limited in practice all week but figures to lead Baltimore’s 3-man committee backfield tonight, ahead of Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.
