Allen Lazard Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) put in his 2nd straight limited practice on Thursday. He has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Lions, but we'll get another update on Lazard tomorrow.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. It looks like he has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Lions. We'll get another update on Lazard tomorrow. WR Christian Watson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) is out for Sunday night’s game vs. the Bills. That takes away the top option in a struggling passing game. Romeo Doubs and Sammy Watkins, who was limited in practice all week with a hamstring but isn’t listed on the final injury report, figure to serve as QB Aaron Rodgers’ top 2 WRs. WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as questionable after 3 limited practices.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) conceded Thursday that he's unlikely to play vs. the Bills on Sunday night. Lazard told reporters that he heard "a snap, crackle and pop" in his shoulder near the end of the 3rd quarter of last week's game -- but that he doesn't expect to be out long. His absence this weekend figures to leave Sammy Watkins and Romeo Doubs as Green Bay's top 2 WRs. We'll see if WR Christian Watson can make it back from his hamstring injury.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Bills on Sunday night, but we'll see if Lazard is able to get back on the field tomorrow. WRs Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Christian Watson (hamstring) remained limited on Thursday.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. He was knocked out of last week's game with this injury and is in danger of missing Sunday night's game vs. the Bills. We'll see if Lazard is able to get back on the practice field tomorrow. WRs Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Christian Watson (hamstring) were limited Wednesday.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers managed only 194 yards on 23-of-35 passing in Sunday's loss to the Commanders. He found RB Aaron Jones for the team's only 2 offensive TDs. WR Allen Lazard was the only other Packer to catch more than 3 passes, before leaving with a shoulder injury. TE Robert Tonyan contributed 3-32 receiving on 4 targets. WR Sammy Watkins returned from IR (hamstring) to catch 2 passes for 36 yards among 4 targets. Rookie Romeo Doubs went catchless on 4 targets. Doubs finished as the clear playing-time leader, with Lazard leaving early and the team missing WRs Randall Cobb and Christian Watson. No member of this pass offense looks attractive for a Week 8 visit to Buffalo.

Packers WR Allen Lazard injured his shoulder in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game in Washington. He's questionable to return. We'll update Lazard's status when we know more.

The Packers have activated WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) from IR. They have listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders. We certainly wouldn't use Watkins in fantasy football lineups. We'll see about his role -- once he plays -- and any impact on WRs Romeo Doubs and Allen Lazard. Green Bay also placed WR Randall Cobb (ankle) on IR. Cobb says he expects to return this season.

Packers WR Allen Lazard reached the end zone for the 4th time in 5 games in Sunday's loss to the Jets. Overall, he caught 4 of 9 targets for 76 yards and the score. It marked his 3rd straight game with at least 8 targets. Lazard and rookie Romeo Doubs also continued to easily lead the offense in routes. Doubs also saw 9 targets, catching 4 for just 21 yards.

Packers WR Randall Cobb drew a team-high 13 targets in Sunday's loss to the Giants, accounting for 33.3% of Aaron Rodgers' total attempts. He also led the team with 7 catches and 99 yards. WR Allen Lazard checked in next with 8 targets, catching 4 for 35 and a TD. TE Marcedes Lewis grabbed the only other TD on his lone catch of the game. Rookie WR Romeo Doubs tallied 3 receptions for 29 yards among 5 targets.

Packers WRs Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs worked as the clear top 2 wideouts in Sunday's OT win over the Patriots. They played 70 snaps apiece (of 73) and ran 36 and 35 routes, respectively, among 37 Aaron Rodgers dropbacks. Randall Cobb checked in next among WRs at just 25 snaps and 18 routes. Lazard and Doubs also drew a matching 8 targets. Lazard caught 6 balls for a game-high 116 yards. Doubs posted a 5-47-1 receiving line and nearly added another TD but lost the ball when he hit the ground. We'd bet that these 2 continue to lead the corps after Sammy Watkins returns from his hamstring injury.

Packers WR Allen Lazard caught 4 of 6 targets for 45 yards and 1 score in a Week 3 win at Tampa Bay. He had a nice 26-yard downfield hookup with Aaron Rodgers and also scored on a smooth slant route out of the slot. In total, Lazard’s 6 targets ranked 3rd on the team and represented a 17.1% team share. It’s worth noting that Lazard — who formerly dealt with an ankle injury — was removed from the Packers’ final injury report. The veteran has the look of a matchup-based WR3/4 going forward.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday, sitting out on Thursday. Lazard still isn't at 100% but played 81% of Green Bay's offensive snaps last week.
