Saints HC Kellen Moore said Tuesday that he expects WR Chris Olave to have a "huge impact" on the offense this season. "Chris Olave is a phenomenal player," Moore added.
Olave was limited to just eight games last season by a pair of concussions -- the fourth and fifth documented head injuries of his career. That certainly adds risk to his fantasy profile in 2025 and beyond.
But Olave averaged 5.0 catches and 63.7 yards across his six full games last year. He drew 23.6% of Saints targets in those outings and averaged 2.13 yards per route -- 22nd among 106 qualifying WRs. Olave has topped a 23% target share and 2.0 yards per route in all three of his NFL seasons.
His fantasy production hasn't been as strong, with PPR points per game finishes of WR27, WR21, and WR57. But Olave turns just 25 in June and packs plenty of talent as a former first-round pick.
He's a worthwhile bounce-back bet in 2025, especially at his current WR31 best-ball ADP. Olave sits significantly higher in our 2025 WR Rankings.
Olave's value is a bit tricker in dynasty. The downside case with the concussions is more impactful when we're talking about a long-term investment. But much of that risk is baked into his WR20 dynasty ADP.
