Packers HC Matt LaFleur wants to get TE Tucker Kraft even more involved in the offense in 2025. He answered, "100%" when asked if Kraft can make a Travis Kelce or George Kittle-type of impact.
LaFleur on Kraft: "I think that’s on us to make sure that we find him and feature him. When he gets the ball in his hands, you feel him. So, if there is an area that we gotta do a better job on, I would say featuring the tight end."
Kelce or Kittle-level production from Kraft is a stretch. But he's coming off a strong second season, catching 50 balls for 707 yards and seven TDs, finishing 10th among TEs in total PPR points and 15th in points per game. Kraft's 1.61 yards per route ranked 10th among 36 qualifying TEs.
He ranked just 18th at the position in targets, due largely to the Packers finishing 30th in pass attempts. But Kraft drew a solid 14.6% target share. There's certainly room for that to grow in 2025 -- especially with Green Bay's WR corps generally underwhelming this past year.
We'll see if the Packers make any significant additions to that group. But expect Kraft to land in low-end TE1 territory when our initial 2025 fantasy football rankings launch next month.
