Eagles HC Nick Sirianni told reporters Monday that QB Jalen Hurts remains in the league concussion protocol. He suffered the injury early in the team's Week 16 loss to Washington.
There's obviously time for Hurts to clear the protocol ahead of Sunday's playoff opener against Green Bay, but he's not yet a lock to be ready.
We'll watch for updates on his progress throughout the week. If you're playing in a playoffs fantasy league that drafts before Hurts clears, though, you'll need to factor the risk of Hurts not playing this week into your drafting.
Going without Hurts in Round 1 would not only hurt the offense, of course. It would damage the team's chances of advancing -- a key factor in playoffs-long fantasy formats.
If Hurts remains out, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert would see their fantasy outlooks dinged.
It's too early to make such adjustments yet, though.
