Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs ran 23 times for 139 yards and three TDs while also catching all five of his targets for 31 yards and a TD. Gibbs ran wild on the Vikings defense to secure the top seed for the Lions in the playoffs. With RB David Montgomery's status still up in the air, Gibbs will be relied upon throughout the playoffs.
Gibbs redraft value will be interesting come next year.
He will undoubtedly be a first-round selection, especially in PPR leagues, but we may have been spoiled with Gibbs' numbers without David Montgomery.
He has been an RB1 in every game without Montgomery this season, whereas he had some lows in games where Montgomery sniped TDs.
Even with the split in carries, Gibbs is a fantasy stud and a rock solid RB1 dynasty asset moving forward.
Even if OC Ben Johnson moves on from the Detroit Lions, they have the pieces in place to keep continuity and continue having one of the highest scoring offenses in the league.
