The Saints managed just 67 yards on 20 carries in Monday night's loss to the Packers. RB Kendre Miller drew a team-high 8 carries but turned them into just 15 yards (1.9 per rush). Most of that came on a single 10-yard run. QB Spencer Rattler easily led the team in rushing with 28 yards on 5 carries.
Jordan Mims and Jamaal Williams also factored into the backfield. Mims led the team with 8 targets and 5 receptions despite doing little with those receiving opportunities. Half of those targets came on the Saints' final possession.
Williams carried the ball three times for 8 yards in the first half and then didn't touch the ball in the second half.
The Saints should be able to run the ball at least a bit better against the Raiders in Week 17. But I certainly didn't see anything in the Monday night game to make me want to play a New Orleans RB against Vegas.
