Colts QB Anthony Richardson attempted just 11 passes in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Titans. He completed seven for 131 yards, including a 27-yard TD connection with WR Josh Downs. Richardson also tossed 1 INT, took a sack, and posted a 9-70-1 rushing line.
The game was more lopsided than the final score shows. Indy built a 38-7 lead by the middle of the third quarter before the Titans scored the game's final three TDs (plus a pair of 2-point conversions).
That game flow plus RB Jonathan Taylor's two long TD runs kept Richardson's passing volume down. But he was efficient when he did throw.
That wasn't the case over the previous three weeks, when Richardson completed just 44.4% of his passes at 5.03 yards per attempt.
Week 17 presents his first shot at a soft Jacksonville defense. Expect Richardson to stay among our top 12 QBs for that matchup.
