Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 69 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to Arizona. He out-carried Antonio Gibson 13-7.
Stevenson's now hit 69+ rushing yards in three of his past four games.
He ran hard on Sunday, notching 5.3 YPC. But the 26-year-old was unable to convert either of his goal line carries. The Cardinals stopped him on a fourth and one from the four, ending a promising drive.
Stevenson beat Gibson in routes (17 to 7) but didn't draw a target. He's now been held without a catch in two of his past three outings.
Stevenson will look for a more complete outing next Sunday at Buffalo. Negative game script is likely to cap his upside in that one.
