Commanders QB Jayden Daniels had a good passing day and led his team's rushing in Sunday's victory over the Saints. But he also took a lot of pressure from a defense that entered the day tied for just 22nd in the league in sacks. Daniels went 25-of-31 passing for 226 yards and 2 TDs. He added 11 carries for 66 yards.
We expected Daniels to have a good outing against the Saints, and he didn't let fantasy managers down. But the 8 sacks he took were concerning.
New Orleans entered the game averaging just 2.2 sacks per contest and hadn't tallied more than 3 in a game since Week 3.
This hasn't been a particular issue for Daniels overall. He has taken more than 3 sacks in a game twice this season and sported just the 13th-highest sack rate in the league entering Week 15.
Daniels gets home dates with the Eagles and Falcons to close out most fantasy seasons. (Dallas in Week 18, if your league plays that long.)
Philly's a tough spot, though not likely to knock Daniels out of our top 12 for Week 16. Expect him to sit top 5 in our Week 17 rankings.
