Eagles TE Dallas Goedert scored his team's second TD in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, snagging the 14-yarder late in the first half. That was one of two catches for 25 yards among 3 targets.
Goedert played 43 of 54 offensive snaps before Philly starters left the game, according to Pro Football Focus. That 79.6% checked in only slightly below his pre-injury playing time.
Goedert's lackluster 3 targets also tied for second on the team in a game that found Jalen Hurts attempting just 20 passes.
Unfortunately for the passing game's collective fantasy outlook, that's become the norm. Hurts is averaging just 20.6 pass attempts over the past five games, in an offense that leads the league in pass rate under expected over that span.
That volume limitation helped keep Goedert just on the fringe of TE1 territory in our Week 10 rankings and will likely keep him in that range going forward.
The offense presents weekly TD upside, but the passing volume lowers the floor.
