Eagles WR DeVonta Smith drew a just-OK 6 targets in Sunday's win over the Jaguars, but that led the team and marked a 25% share of Jalen Hurts' total pass attempts for the game. Smith has seen at least 23.5% target share in five of his seven games this season and sits at 25.4% for the year.
WR A.J. Brown left the Jacksonville game at the end of the first half, meaning we still have just four full games this season of Brown and Smith sharing the field.
That sample has included good target shares for Smith in weeks 1 and 8, but weaker shares in weeks 6 and 7.
We'll see whether Brown's latest ailment (a knee issue) costs him further time. And low Eagles passing volume obviously doesn't help anyone's value. But you shouldn't worry too much about Smith.
