Rams WR Puka Nacua left practice early today with a knee injury on the same knee that was previously injured. Nacua officially had a "Limiited" practice, but his status for Week 9 is up in the air now. Nacua previously missed six weeks with an injury to that right knee.
Sara Barshop of ESPN: "Rams WR Puka Nacua left practice early today with a knee injury, according to a team spokesperson."
Nacua came back with a vengeance last week as the primary receiver for the Rams. It looked like he would naturally fit right back into his role, but another injury to his right knee if a major concern.
We will update further when more information is released, but be cautious with starting Nacua until he is cleared to play and off the injury report.
If Nacua misses multiple weeks, it lowers the potential of Matthew Stafford each week, and there likely isn't a one-to-one replacement, instead expect Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell and Tyler Johnson to platoon as replacements.
Another knee injury would start to give long-term concern about Nacua's health and how he holds up going forward could impact his dynasty value.
Multiple knee injuries back to back like this is a cause for a longer term concern.
Nacua's odds of injury in season moving forward will increase if this is significant.
