The Steelers have placed WR Roman Wilson on IR for his hamstring injury. The rookie sustained the injury in the practice week leading up to the Week 7 win over the Jets. Wilson missed that game and has played just 5 snaps all year. He previously dealt with an ankle injury suffered before the season.
It's not yet clear whether Pittsburgh will designate Wilson to return from IR or just let him miss the rest of the season. It's tough to envision the rookie presenting any redraft value the rest of the way, though.
The Steelers also elevated WR Brandon Johnson from the practice squad to the active/inactive roster ahead of Monday night's game.
Wilson could be a mild "buy" in dynasty right now. The injuries have kept him from being able to show anything in a Pittsburgh WR corps that could really use help.
I'd only go for him at low cost or as a throw-in on a larger deal, though.
Wilson's a nice athlete but also arrived as just a third-round pick and broke out relatively late in college.
