Cardinals QB Kyler Murray tallied 307 yards and 2 TDs on 26-of-36 passing in a Week 8 win over Miami. He didn’t account for a turnover and avoided a sack for the third straight game.
Murray easily played his best game of the season. His accuracy was on point, and he used his legs to escape trouble on several occasions. He added 19 rushing yards on five attempts.
Murray’s TDs went to Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. The Wilson TD was the result of Murray using his legs to extend the play. Harrison laid out for an end zone ball that Murray threw from a clean pocket.
Harrison's emergence is one of the big takeaways from this matchup. Impressively, he outran top CB Jalen Ramsey on his third quarter score. And overall, he flashed the strong hands and body control that made him an elite prospect. His 7 targets ranked second on the team behind Trey McBride (11).
The Cardinals head back home to face the Bears in Week 9. The Bears are playing this week without S Jaquan Brisker and CB Kyler Gordon; if they remain out, it'll provide a big lift to Murray's outlook. Regardless, he should be treated as a top-12 fantasy option.
Justin Fields has proved that when he's on the field, so is big fantasy upside. Drafters are underrating the new Jets QB. So he leads this list of five high-ceiling fantasy football sleepers.
