Niners TE George Kittle tied WR Brandon Aiyuk for the team lead in targets (12) and receptions (8) in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. He tallied 64 yards and caught the team's lone TD pass. No other 49er caught more than one pass for the game.
Kittle has scored in each of his past three appearances and caught at least four passes in every game.
Sunday marked a season high in targets, accounting for 34.3% of QB Brock Purdy's attempts for the game. Don't expect anything near that share most weeks.
It was just as important that Kittle played 94% of the offensive snaps, coming off a rib injury that allowed him just one limited practice and rendered him questionable.
Kittle's back to ranking among the few comfortable weekly starts at TE.
