Niners WR Deebo Samuel made just one catch (for 11 yards) and rushed for only 9 yards on 3 carries in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.
It was obviously a terrible fantasy outing for Samuel, but there's no clear reason for concern here.
Samuel got frozen out of San Francisco's elevated passing volume (35 attempts), but we won't commonly see WR Brandon Aiyuk and TE George Kittle absorb 68.6% of the team's targets in a game.
Samuel narrowly trailed Aiyuk for the playing time lead among WRs for the second straight week (coming off his Week 3 injury).
There's simply weekly risk that any of these 49ers offensive stars have a down game.
The fact that San Francisco managed less than 7.0 yards per pass attempt and lost can only help the chance that offensive focus shifts for a Week 6 visit to Seattle.
